I finished All Systems Red last night. Good little novella. Murderbot is probably one of my favorite characters I've read in awhile. He was great. Still hoping to read Take a Hint, Dani Brown before the end of the month and since it's only the 3rd I'm feeling pretty positive about that goal. Haha.
Finished my February Colors read! This month I read Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik as an audiobook. It was a reread and I still gave it a 5/5. Excellent book. Highly recommend for fans of slower paced adult fantasy.

I absolutely LOVE Murderbot.

Oh I'm going to have to put this on my TBR. I already have a couple of Naomi Novik's books on my TBR but this one sounds excellent!
I only have 2 books on my TBR that count. I’m going to go with The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. I’ve had this book for sooooo long and I feel like if I don’t pick it up now, I might never pick it up. Only about 30 pages in but, boy, can this man write. If I have time at the end of the month I’ll try to get to The House in the Cerulean Sea.
I finished my book this afternoon: The Girl in Red by Christina Henry. Loved it!!!! I plan on reading Red Dragon this month also....probably next week. Have fun, everyone!!! 📚
Final UpdateI finished 3 books in February:
Dark and Deepest Red
The Woman in the Green Dress
Brownies and Broomsticks
so far I have completed the Secret at Red Gate Farm (Nancy Drew #6) and the Five Orange Pips (sherlock holmes short story) I'm starting Between Shades of Gray by ruty sepetys next.
Just finished The Color Purple, so beautiful and a surprisingly fast read. I might be able to know out a second choice.
The House in the Cerulean Sea and I'm a little over 1/3 of the way through!Sword of Sorcery Vol 1 Amethyst (graphic novel)
I finished The House in the Cerulean Sea yesterday and it was beautiful. This afternoon I started reading A Spark of White Fire by Sangu Mandanna but I'm already thinking of DNFing it bc it's not really my cup of tea.

I'm just after completing Black Sun and I loved it 5 stars!
More than halfway through The Color Purple and nearly done with The House in the Cerulean Sea Sneak Peek I recommend both very much if you want a quick but impactful read to end the week!
I finished Darling Rose Gold (which is so so good) and The Scarlet Pimpernel (which is meh). I'm onto Burning Blue next
So, I started off the month with a color-title: Snow White and Rose Red by Patricia C. Wrede which is a (very backlisted) retelling of a Grimm fairy tale. I loved Patricia Wrede's books as a kid (the Enchanted Forest series) and it was nostalgic to come back to her novel as an adult. Also on my TBR:
Red at the Bone by Jacqueline Woodson
Blue Ticket by Sophie Mackintosh
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
The Yellow House by Sarah M. Broom
Just finished How Much of These Hills Is Gold :D I also started Gilded Needles but I won't be able to finish during this first week sadly.

I finished
today and will be interested in what you think of the book.
Finished Take a Hint, Dani Brown and All Systems Red.Would like to read The House in the Cerulean Sea but the library copy I have on hold won't be available before the end of the month I'm afraid. But I'm still looking forward to reading it once I do get my hands on it.
Think that will be the all for February for me! Good reading everyone!
Ngl the only book I’m currently in the mood for with a color in the title is A Court of Silver Flames, which might not arrive before the end of February. Also thinking of picking up The Gilded Ones but I’m not sure if Gilded counts as a color. Thoughts?
I'm about halfway through Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy. It's not my usual style but it's interesting enough. It is a 31 hour long audiobook so it's a bit of a slog to get through.
Just finished my 2nd and final color book for the month- The Color Purple, (following the group book The House in the Cerulean Sea)!
Finished Emerald Sea by Richelle Mead (3 stars), and Black House by Stephen King and Peter Straub (4 stars). Might get around to Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston before the end of the month.
So far this month I've finished two of these (Song of the Crimson Flower *** and Stay Gold ****1/2). I am currently reading The Last Black Unicorn and have read the intro to Olive (not sure I'm in the mood for it).
I read Susie Yang’s debut suspense/contemporary novel White Ivy. Stunning read. I gave it 4.5 stars. It’s definitely a 4 star read but I added the .5 because I really enjoyed the ending. I’ll be reading everything this author writes in the future!
I finished Black Klansman: Race, Hate, and the Undercover Investigation of a Lifetime last week and now I’m reading (well, listening to) Loving: Interracial Intimacy in America and the Threat to White Supremacy.
Really chuffed - managed to get through House in the Cerulean Sea, The Color Purple and Love in Colour
I read Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan and I'm working my way through Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy but that one is a hefty 31 hour audiobook, so I'm going a little slow.
I'm gonna be honest, I finally finished The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker (January pick) earlier today and for February I think I'm going to read The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick and Black Butterfly (poetry collection) by Robert M. Drake. I know I won't finish these in the week that's left in the month, so I'm just going to hope I'll be caught up by the end of March.
Bit late but I just finished Green Class - Volume 1 - Pandemic which was super enjoyable if you're looking for a quick and interesting zombie story (perfect for fans of The Last of Us)I was planning to read Across the Green Grass Fields but still waiting on the audiobook from my library
I decided to just do this challenge for the whole month considering SO MANY books have a colour in the title!I read
