Reuben loved the treehouse, it was just so calm and peaceful, and so far away from everyone else, which -at least to them- made it so much better. No one normally came out there, since there was some rumor of monsters out in the forest, but for the years that they had been going out there, they had never seen anything, aside from their trees. And they loved he loved his trees, he was definitely a plant person, and well, whether he was the Erethreal of trees and plants, he would still be the same way. He just seemed to have some sort of connection with the plants, besides the powers.
As he walked through the path he blazed through the forest, he murmured quiet 'hellos' to the plants surrounding him, and smiled to himself as he could hear their responses. They knew that it looked odd, he had been told that so many times by the campers, but he didn't care, he was just using his powers. After stopping a few times to converse with some of the trees, they eventually made it to the treehouse, climbing up the stairs and heading to his spot that he had made for himself in one of the many buildings up there. It was on one of the decks, facing the forest with a beautiful view of the sky. He had a couple of bean bags and books left from the last time he had visited, so they settled down and began to read.
After about a half hour of being up there, their stomach began to growl. Argh, I can't just stop here, this is a good spot... So they tried to ignore it for a little while, but there was only so much they could take of it. Reuben had decided to skip breakfast, since well, he wasn't too interested in the options of the day, and since well, he wasn't that hungry, he hadn't been for a while, but every so often he felt the need to at least snack on something, and this was one of those days. Slowly, as though he didn't want to leave his book, he rose, heading back into the inside areas of the treehouse, There has to be some snacks around here... Somewhere, or, I can just ignore it, it's not that big of a deal They thought with a shrug, grabbing a bottle of water.

Evanstil mumbled to himself as he slipped through the doorway and kept his purple eyes down to the wooden flooring. The crowd of people in the more common areas to the camp had become overwhelming, and he had decided upon escaping to a quieter space. This place had been the first to come to mind. He never guessed there could be anyone around, and finding out he wasn't alone would put him in a internal panic. No one would be interested in starting a conversation with me, though. No one does, especially after seeing my scar... He rested a hand on his forearm to were he hid a large burn scar. After being avoided multiple times because of it, he chose suffering through the hot seasons instead of living through embarrassment of his physical flaw. The more he thought, the more the young adult wished he wasmt so tall, nor his eyes so unique. He ducked his head and discreetly hugged himself as he found a corner to isolate himself in. ((Oh lord, this is terrible in comparison. ;A; But its all I could think of finally.))
((Lol, it's fine))
Reuben glanced up, hearing the footsteps in "his" treehouse. But not seeing anyone there they just shrugged, deciding to go back into their little nook. But he wasn't too interested in reading at this point and began to speak to the trees, a seemingly one-sided conversation. He asked about the weather and things about the animals and such. It was a rather interesting thing to see to be quite honest. It looked odd from a distance, seeing Reuben apparently speaking to nothing, although he was acting as though he was receiving a response from the tree, and although he knew what was happening, if someone didn't know him they would have been more than likely confused to what was going on.

Blade came here, angry at himself. you just messed things up, now your cabin mates think your rude. I mean, they might not have noticed but I think they did. he mentally yelled at himself Why do I have so much trouble making friends? Maybe Id be better off without people caring about me, people are obnoxious anyways... He stared at the ground, which was 20 feet below him.
Keeichi climbed the ladder up to the treehouse, his clones helping him as he was rather short, eventually making it into the tree house. He then sat in a corner, plugging his earbuds in and starting to listen to music as his clones disappeared and one of them whispered ‘cute guy 3 o clock’
Blade looked over at him. He approached him catiously, still a bit annoyed at himself. didn't you learn your lesson last time? Don't try to make friends, it only ends up badly. stay away from people, being social is overated anyways. he ignored his brain and moved a bit closer to keeichi
“Ah hello there” he said with a smile and brushed one of the clones off “shut up dude” he whispered and sighed
"Hi." He said with a fake smile Aww nuts! now we're stuck in a conversation. Oh well, just do what you do best which is messing up any chance of having a friend and we'll be on our way. he frowned a bit.
“How are you” he asked with a smile, looking up at blade “you okay man?” He tilted his head to the side a bit
"I'm ok." He said, not meaning it. Liar!!!!!!!!!!!!! You feel like you're alone in the world and your too much of a chicken to do anything about it!! He fidgited a bit Why am I having an argument with myself? I'm not insane, right? He twiddled his thumbs.
“Alright then so what’s your ethereal” he asked smiling curiously and looking at him “your acting so nervous you sure your ok?”
"My ethereal is clarity, and I'm not nervous!!I'm fine."he said, looking at the ground. He looked around, seeming a bit confused and nervous. His thoughts were racing, trying to figure out if he was being weird.
“Okay?” He asked smiling brightly and summoning some clones “my name is Keeichi, ethereal of duplication”
((im back)) He smiled an actual smile this time "Nice to meet you." See? making friends didn't turn out so bad. He thought We aren't friends yet. the pessimistic side of his brain told him.

Evanstil looked up when he heard a voice. After listening further, he realized the voice recieved no reply, though it kept talking. Curious, and a bit confused, the black-haired male stood up and followed the voice until he found the owner. He saw a male, probably his own age, or close to it, at least. He kept close to a bookcase, hiding behind it, though his black hair and unusual eyes didn't allow him to. He, of course, didn't know this. His fascination was too strong to care, anyways.

He wasn’t this used to being social and while yes he did have some strengths, he was really awkward around people

Reuben just continued to speak to the trees, not even aware that someone was there watching him, they were much too engrossed in the conversation. "Oh, that's horrible, I'll have to speak to one of the kids here who handle animals, maybe they will be able to handle this issue."

"Yes, I know that woodpeckers can be quite a pain, but until I get this situation sorted out, there isn't all that much that I can do to help you. It is not as though I can just move you to another part of the forest, because well that is not possible, and also, well...It just isn't something that would happe-" He got cut off and let the tree speak to him, nodding along to what it was saying, "Someone is? Truly? That's odd..." He turned around looking for the person who had been supposedly watching him, and saw no one at first until they noticed the black hair and eyes. Reuben held in a chuckle before waving the boy over, "Would you like to come and join us? Because I must admit, staring is a bit rude."

Evanstil's face burned red at being caughr, and ge just realized why. He covered his dark hair with his hands, looked to the side. "I- I'm sorry... I just got curious," he attempted to explain himself. He then began to fidget with his fingers and nodded slightly at the offer. "If you don't mind me," he stopped and rested a hand over his covered burn scar, tge very reason he had become so awkward around others. Moving from his poorly chosen hiding space, he stiffly sat down beside the other male. "I'm really sorry," he repeated.
Reuben laughed a little at the statement, knowing fully well that their conversation with the trees was a bit...odd to say the least. "No, no you are more than welcome here, after all, I don't own this area, so if people wish to come and join me, I really only say yes to them." He said with a shrug, making room for the other boy to sit next to him. "Oh no, you are fine, there is no problem at all." Reuben said, trying to reassure the boy that everything was alright. "So I guess it looked weird to be speaking to seemingly nothing?" He asked, a smile on his face, "Oh, and by the way, my name is Reuben, and your's is?" They asked, holding out their hand for him to shake.
"Not strange, it's..." Evanstil closed his eyes to think of the right word. "Intriguing," he finally answered. He opened his eyes to find a welcoming handshake. The action wasn't something he was used to, so it was quite awkward for him, but he did it anyways to leave a decent impression. "Evanstil Eletra, ethereal of wind, and a counselor," he had taught himself to fully introduce himself professionally incase authority was needed.
"Wow, you're counselor? That must be nice." Reuben mused, smiling a bit at the other man, "I don't think I've officially met my counselor yet, but you know, it's not big of a deal, and plus I spend most of my time up here, with my trees and plants. I probably should have said that I'm the ethreal of wood and such, but it seems as though that might have changed a slight bit and has made me more into the ethreal of trees and I guess other plants. That's actually who I was speaking to a few moments ago, one of my trees." The more Reuben spoke, the more they were surprised with themself, they never spoke more than three words with any of the other campers, and Mrs. Thelma had been the exception, but for some reason he felt a bit more comfortable speaking to this counselor, That's odd...

This magical treehouse is the camp favorite spot for relaxing and hanging out with friends. Nestled in the Enchanted Forest, the treehouse stretches between 3 different trees, connected by sturdy rope bridges. Inside, the treehouses are super cozy, with puffy couches and chairs, knit rugs, and stacks of blackets. Bookcases are overflowing with old books left by previous campers. Come unwind and spend some time away from the hectic camp life. The few of the stars from the treehouse decks is phenomenal, so this spot is usually busy at night.
