Starting now. Only on page one, but already feels soooo good to be back!
Started yesterday, you're right...fell right back in to the style. Was trying to remember other sea battles in the series but can't pinpoint if there were any. I know he was enslaved as a rower for a while but not sure of any real battles.Anyway, Uhtred is up to his old tricks again.
I thoroughly enjoyed the sea battle!I went through a phase of reading Hornblower and Bolitho, so I reeaally dig battleships with sails, and good descriptions of their use. Cornwell just does the battles so well, I can SMELL them!

Yes! I’m currently outside Faefresham. Marveling at how well trained Uhtred’s men are, when he ordered the wolf trap.
Soooooo, it looks like Uhtred will be going to Wiltshire?Or is he going to sail to Lundene first?
