Tara Dolan Like stretching an unused muscle, I'm starting this slow. We have a lot of family goals this year -- namely building our house and getting out of our neighborhood ASAP -- so I'm pretty sure toward the second half of 2021 my time will be diminished.

Me too! December was rough for finishing anything since I was rushing two crochet projects but now I feel like I've got this!

Tara Dolan Book 1 of 2021:

Yule Be Sorry -- Kim M. Watt

This is the 2nd in the Beaufort Scales series and I absolutely adored it! Bonus: the author started following me on Twitter!!

Tara Dolan Book 2 of 2021

What Unites Us -- Dan Rather

This is an amazing collection of essays. I can't wait to pass this book on to my kids when they are old enough to really grapple with it.

Tara Dolan Enchanted Knight -- Keith W. Willis

Dang it, Keith! You cliffhanger'd me! I loved this as much as the rest. Can't wait for Book 4!

Tara Dolan Skeleton Keys -- Riley Black

An interesting musing on the archaeology, anthropology, and history of bones.

Tara Dolan Finished Daughters of Night on 5/31. LOVE this one! Page turner and had me guessing until the end. Going to pick up her first book soon!

Tara Dolan Jack Kane and the Statue of Liberty

Finished today. Not a favorite. Plot disorganized and hard to get invested in characters. Felt obligated to finish it. Glad I'm done

Tara Dolan The History of Here: A House, the Pine Hills Neighborhood, and the City of Albany

A bit of local history. Quick, engaging, and makes me love this area more

Tara Dolan Finally finished Twilight of the Elves. Hard to follow at times, but I think that was due to my attention span and lapses between reading sessions.

message 18: by Tara (new)

Tara Dolan Just finished The Ancestor and WOW!

Tara Dolan Finished Some Things I Still Can't Tell You: Poems the other day (Sunday?). Of course I got it b/c Misha/Castiel is my spirit animal. Not even sorry!

I also paused reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. I love the concept but it's not moving forward fast enough for me right now. I will pick it up again, just not sure when.

Tara Dolan Breezed thru Chuck Wendig's Dust & Grim. Absolutely loved it!

Tara Dolan Finished A Manor of Life & Death - A Cozy Mystery (with Dragons): A Beaufort Scales Mystery, Book 3 last night. Read the majority of it while on vacation ::grin:: Such a good book!
