Hi Nicole, most members use their corner to keep track of the many challenges they participate in, or other reading statistics. This is in contrast with the challenge thread that is used to keep track of the books that have been read and social interaction.
Feel free to have a look at my corner and personal challenge to see the difference. Of course, you are free to organize things the way it works best for you :)

I absolutely love this. I’m new to navigating around goodreads and using it for more than just keeping track of the books I’ve read. Is there a way to make a members corner for myself outside of being in a group. I’m a member a few groups and I participate in different challenges but it would be great to be able to one stop shop them.

As far as I know, there is no way to do this outside of groups, but you could make your own private group. You are also very welcome to use your membercorner in this group to track challenges from other groups, it really is your space to organize as you like it.
