TBR Knockout - 4 Month Challenge

The mods are happy to introduce our first 4 month challenge! This challenge will run from January-April

Do you ever just sit and look at your massive TBR pile, and not know where to start? If so then this is the challenge for you!



How it Works:
As you can probably guess by the title, this challenge is geared towards making a dent in that tbr. Once you are all set up for the challenge, you will create a list of 50 books that are on your TBR. The goal is to finish as much of the books on your list as possible. Books that are not on your list can still be counted for page points. But bonus points will be given for your list books! If you finish your list early you can add ten extra books to your list.

If you'd like to participate, just comment on this thread. Once I get you checked in I will make you a thread specifically for the challenge. This is where you will post your list and reviews.

Page Points:
1 - 99 pages = 1 point
100 - 199 pages = 2 points
200 - 299 pages = 3 points
300 - 399 pages = 4 points
400 - 499 pages = 5 points
500 - 599 pages = 6 points
600 - 699 pages = 7 points
700 - 799 pages = 8 points
800 - 899 pages = 9 points
900+ pages = 10 points

Extra Points:
BOTM = x3
Buddy Read = x2
Manga/Graphic Novel/Comic = -2 points
Poetry/Cookbook = -3 points
Reviewed = +5 points

Bonus Points:
10 bonus points for every 5 books read from your list

I know that I'm a mod, but I just want to confirm something. Re-reads don't count, right? Cause I will be reading the Harry Potter series with Ayesha starting January 1st, and it will be a re-read for me, and it is 8 books, so just wanted to ask :)

I don't think so, since we've read it. It won't be on our TBR. I mean I could have added that in my list but I didn't because I had the same doubt... but still, I don't think so. Maybe Ayesha can add it :)

Do any types of books count? (like is there a specific type of book we need to read)

Do I get my own little TBR list?

What if you don't finish all of your books?

Any types count, you have to make your own TBR List of 50 books, and you don't have to finish all the books. Just log in the books you have read and the books that are in the list. We don't mind the questions, at all. :)

Your list has to be 50 books. But you definitely don’t have to read that many! The goal is to read as much as you can. We set the number to 50 because there are some fast readers in the group :)
