But if my favorite authors put out books in existing series next year, I may well beat that.

Murder, Simply Stitched by Isabell Alan has a Nubian goat that saves the day, after being a problem kid throughout the book.
Body on the Bayou by Ellen Byron has a mama cat and dog with their babies that are found by our AS. When she finds the owner, is gives her the final clue to solve the mystery.
I completed level two today, so I am now aiming for level three. My first twelve books in this challenge are:1. A Skeleton in the Family – Dog – Akita Byron who steals the skeleton bones and exposes the murder.
2. Murder, Simply Stitched – Isabell Alan – Nubian Goat.
3. Body on the Bayou by Ellen Byron – A mom cat and dog with their kittens provide the final clue to the killer.
4. Closely Harbored Secrets by Bree Baker– Cat leads the rescuer to our endangered sleuth – cat may be reincarnated/ghost of an ancestor.
5. A Whisker of a Doubt by Cate Conte – Cat Café
6. Murder, Plainly Read by Isabella Alan – dog bites killer allowing the AS to escape.
7. Undercover Kitty by Sofie Ryan Cats attack killer to save AS.
8. A Curious Incident by Vicki Delany – dog is the final clue she needs to figure out who the killer was.
9. A Biscuit, a Casket by Liz Mugavero – AS is a pet chef and her dog and cat, as well as other local pets star in this series
10. A Dark and Twisting Path by Julia Buckley Two dogs scare off a killer and keep the cat safe.
11. Lady Takes the Case by Eliza Casey – the cat finds the evidence and shows it to our sleuths
12. Body in the Park by Courtney McFarlin – Talking cat is the Dr. Watson to our novice sleuth.
