Well, actually that's a case of "is this a series" I think:for all those books the description states "short story in the Gitmo Nation series. It is based on the topics discussed on the No Agenda show hosted by Adam Curry and John C Dvorak www.noagendashow.com "
--> I think this might be to be made into a list, instead of a series.
Someone else can confirm/infirm?
HiNot sure if I logged my request in the wrong forum (happy to be corrected).
Yes, they are all part of the same series (I'm the author).
No what I mean is that I am not sure it is a series by Goodreads' standards. Let's see what other librarians think :)
Scott wrote: "Well, the series was set up on a recommendation from one of your colleagues."
Yes, because you indicated that the novels and short stories are all part of the same universe. Is that still true, and does it apply to this one?

I was confused because the shows' description is No Agenda, a show where former VJ Adam Curry and columnist John C. Dvorak, two experts from the media industry, have a conversation about politics. Twice a week they deconstruct the news cycle and give insights into the narrative of the mainstream media, political campaigns and the government.
(as per your show's website) But maybe the books are about something else then? Sorry to make you re-explain Scott - if it is indeed a series I can subsequently put a note in there and link to here so we don't have to re-ask you every time.
HiYep, this new book is part of the same series.
The stories are based on topics discussed on the No Agenda show, and they’re kind enough to promote the books whenever there’s a new one.
Thanks
Scott
I'm sorry but I am still unsure:To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- instead sharing characters, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc.
Is it the case here? Otherwise we can make it a list :)
From reading the books' descriptions, it sounds to me like a collection of short stories about politics and I am not sure I see any common thread. I saw one character's name coming back, but it was not clear if it was the same character or a reuse/reiteration of the name (which might qualify anyway)I am not saying this is not a series, I am saying I don't want to be the one making this call with so little information, and will leave it to Rivka to do as they see fit. Thanks for you for your patience though, I know this must be annoying, especially if you already went through it.
The Gitmo Nation series consists of short stories and novels, all set in the same universe with recurring characters and a central storyline that continues to develop from one story to the next.I'm not sure what other information I can give you to "prove" this to you.

Please can you add this book...

...to this series (as book #5)...

...and list it against me as the author...

Thank you!
