What book title would you come up with that captures 2020? (If one already exists that you prefer to making up your own, feel free to share that instead.)

This is a tough question - I need more time to think!

This book was actually one of several different repackagings of PK Dick's The Unteleported Man, and its plot is only incidentally related to the "Lies" title. But as a succinct and germane description of living in 2020, it does pretty well for me.

Marcus Hobson | 88 comments Perhaps The Year of Living Dangerously?

It has already spawned some adaptations of the title, like The Year of Living Danishly.
But The Year of Breathing Dangerously seems appropriate for 2020.

That sums it up pretty well!

I don't have a title. But the cover design would be a car with the engine on fire, being driven off of a cliff by clowns wearing Klan robes while people were clawing at the back window to get out. If it was cartoon style, there might also be onlookers watching the car go over the cliff while saying "fake news".

LindaJ^ (lindajs) | 2548 comments I can see that cover, Whitney, and it would be perfect for my nonfiction book title -- "2020: Crying, Dying, and Lying"

Ha, perfect! You are welcome to use my cover.

I like that we're already matching covers to titles! Some great suggestions so far.

I might just borrow a phrase our cats frequently mutter in between feedings at home for my title:
THIS PLACE F#@*ing SUCKS

Jennifer | 121 comments I dunno, things like "Are you shitting me" or " I'm so Tired" come to mind. Not really book titles...

Whitney, I think your book cover needs more stuff in the back ground..especially if we are going full cartoon... people on puppet strings...the Russian hammer/sickle symbol...
