Setting + name
I probably won't start it until tomorrow. I want to finish up another book I have going first.

Oh this book was just FANTASTIC. Are we allowed re-reads?

Part of it is in London, so there is the setting, and they appear to kind of be fake dating for part of the book so I think that should count for plot? So that'd be 9

It is set solely in London from what I can tell (is on the London shelf) and also involves a fake relationship.

I know ! I had the same problem a few weeks ago ! I copied the audiobook and when I disconnect the iPod to listen to it ,it wasn't there . I finally figured that I should select the iPod in that menu!

I'm almost finished with my book. I listened to quite a lot last night and this morning.

I will. Just give me a sec.

Review: well..I really enjoyed this story...it is rather a "rags to riches" story....Tessa Essex is the daughter of a Viscout who dies almost penniless. he does leave a legacy of horseflesh as a dowry for each of his 4 daughters...as having had no sons, he much leave his crumbling estate to a distant male cousin. the 4 girls are whisked off to the care of Lord Holbrook, who believes them to be mere children. upon finding that they are marriagiable age, he goes about the business of trying to find appropriate husbands for each. it is a roundabout romance, with the 4 sisters being sisterly, and having sisterly disagreements. very loveable characters, even when they are being unkind to each other.

I was really feeling this book until around the last 100 pages, when the two main characters got into an ugly lying battle that basically culminated with the heroine raping the drunk hero (though I'm sure the author wouldn't describe it that way, it is what happened). If you can get past that, though, this is a light, fun read that had me laughing out loud at many points and definitely delivers its happy ending.

This book was a interesting read. It was definitely fast past read. That sucks you in and keeps you reading to the end. It felt like you were in room watching the action as it unfolds. I will definitely look forward to the authors next book.

This was actually a re-listen for me, but my first time was in 2013. When I saw that I gave it 5 stars, I decided to keep listening again and I enjoyed just much this time. Again the sex scenes squicked me tad because I have a little brother who is tall with dark hair and named Michael and has a tiny blonde wife. Thankfully her name is Laura and not Penelope.
Anyway, loved Penelope. She managed to be a brave and daring heroine without crossing over the line into too stupid to live. I love the whole ice skating scene. Maybe this time I will continue with the series.

Also posted to Ms. D.J. thread several minutes ago. (Forgot to tell you all.)

We are expecting another big storm this weekend. I might not be able to do a library run. I have another paper to finish today and some errands to run before the storm hits. So I don't have time to look yet.

There is already about 4' of snow on the ground.
Wind gusts up to 30mph. So if I go AWOL, then I'm out of power.

I like Julie James but my library doesn't have her one book from 2013.
I have books set in Wyoming but they don't get anything else.
