Félix (habitseven) I'm proud of you, Gail.

kogijiki (covered in mud) (kogijiki) | 235 comments Well done Barb!

message 153: by [deleted user] (new)

Thank you kogijki and Larry. Maybe I'll feel better about my achievements when I can look at them more objectively.

message 158: by Denise (new)

Denise Richard and Angie: Stop smoking! As a Nurse practitioner I am obligated to tell you that. If you do quit we will ALL have accomplished something.

Lylly: Congrats on the job! Hope you love it.

Angela: Nurturing is an accomplishment. It matters not what you nurture (plants, kids, kidds, love of books, friends, goodreads, etc).

Some Days it is an accomplishment to just get out of bed. Other days it is a feat to stay out of it! One day/feat/accomplishment at a time

message 159: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments I'm going to project this accomplishment into the future, in hopes that it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I am/will be proud of myself if I survive the day without losing my cookies. I have never been so hungover in my life, and I feel really sick. Ugh. If someone ever asks you to drink a "Grateful Dead," you say no.

message 160: by Cyril (new)

Cyril I love cookies!

message 161: by Denise (new)

Denise tossed cookies- like cookies and cream?

stay away from Harvey wallbangers, too.

Grateful dead- great group !

Maybe it was just me, but I fell asleep at one of their shows while sitting in the fifth row at Cobo Hall in 1973.

Your results may vary.

Managed to make it all the way through the "60 Minutes" puff piece on Taylor Swift last night without booting.

kogijiki (covered in mud) (kogijiki) | 235 comments Clark this is truly amazing!

message 175: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm not sure what was worse: Swift's squeaky clean mission to abolish bullying and messages of universal harmony or Leslie Stahl hanging on her every word with wide-eyed, fan-girl amazement.

I kept wishing for Joan Jett to crash the interview.

I know. Compared to some of the other music the twins listen to, they could do much, much worse.

Here's to 5 more by New Year's Eve and another 20 in 2012. :)

*Thanks Weight Watchers!
