What's a Recent Accomplishment You're Most Proud Of?


I am proud of my 19-year-old daughter for bringing her grades up, getting herself ditched by her slacker boyfriend and finding a new, interesting and smart partner. She and new boyfriend are downstairs watching "The Shining," so now I need to occasionally (very cool and casual) walk through the TV room to get something in the basement.


I'm moving on up
To the 5th floor
Of a downtown office building.
I can start moving right away if I want. This weekend we'll take some of the stuff I don't use often and won't miss in the next 2 weeks.

Anyway, it may not be much of an accomplishment yet, but I got a call from a company I applied to. Calling them back sometime today to set up an interview!

I managed, by dint of persistent pestering, to get our group of offices a second paper recycling bin! It took six months, but it's so worth it.

I got the upright freezer defrosted yesterday. The inside looked like the weather outside!
