Angela, I successfully killed every plant in my house and several outside (including my entire front lawn). I think you have accomplished something wonderful and should be proud!

janine | 7709 comments This week I helped my parents put in a new ceiling in my old bedroom. I used a saw without cutting my fingers (had to hold it with two hands though, because I'm weak) and used a drill to screw some wood together.

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Lately I have been really proud of my 22-year-old daughter for relocating 1,000 miles from home, graduating with honors from a kick-ass women's college, finding an internship with a theater and a job at an Irish Pub.

I am proud of my 19-year-old daughter for bringing her grades up, getting herself ditched by her slacker boyfriend and finding a new, interesting and smart partner. She and new boyfriend are downstairs watching "The Shining," so now I need to occasionally (very cool and casual) walk through the TV room to get something in the basement.

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments I managed to clean my disgusting living room/dining room from top to bottom on Saturday. Only took 9 hours. I'm rather proud of myself, but I'll be more proud if it stays clean for more than a week.

message 58: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) We understand. You are proud of your work.

message 62: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) I signed a lease this morning and I feel like that's an accomplishment for my business.

I'm moving on up
To the 5th floor
Of a downtown office building.

I can start moving right away if I want. This weekend we'll take some of the stuff I don't use often and won't miss in the next 2 weeks.

message 63: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Congrats, Janice!

Go Barb!

message 64: by Jonathan (new)

Good plan that you scoot behind The Ficus, Phil. We'll have to get one of those brushes that go in through the ear, or up through the nose to give that brain a good cleaning.

message 85: by Shelley (new)

Shelley (book_drunkard) I made a quilt for my daughter. I have been playing at it for years and never seemed to be motivated to finish one until now. So I made one for my oldest daughter from start to finish. Since doing that one I have 3 orders for quilts from people at church/work so it looks like extra cash for the holidays.... ;)
