“It’s okay.” He mumbled, blushing lightly and just holding on to him like a ball and chain. “Sooooo can we skip?” He asked hopefully, giving him his best puppy dog eyes.

Diego grinned and nodded. "Skipping is my specialty." He glanced towards the school and smirked. "I'll easily get my way if we're caught."((Diego, you arrogant son of a-))
"Yeah yeah, I get it; you'll charm them all with your wonderful charm. There's an ice cream place nearby and I've been craving mint-chocolate chip." He admitted, resting his head against his chest.(JUST BEST FRIENDS MY AS-)
((EXACTLY))Diego chuckled and nodded again. "Sí, sí," he softened his gaze on the vampire. "When do you wanna leave?"

"Maybe after we get ready? Give me 20 minutes." He murmured but didn't make a single move to pull away, still trapped by the steady beat of Diego's heart and the warmth of his body
After a few minutes of waiting for Caspian to begin his routine, Diego tilted his head curiously. "Are you ok?" He asked worriedly.
“What?- oh yeah, I’m great!” He blurted, launching up and running in to the bathroom, hiding his redness. A few minutes later, he walked out of the bathroom with his new dark chocolate eye contacts in, drying off his wet black hair and adjusting his The Neighborhood band t-shirt.
Diego smiled as he watched the half-vampire run off. Once the door shut, he moved over to his half of the room, the part that looked like a tornado decided to come and visit. Ember's throw a fit if he sees this. He simply stared at the chaos that quite accurately described his emotions of the previous day. I'll deal with it later. He then absentmindedly stepped onto his bed to get across to his dresser. Going around the bed was too long for him, apparently.After having decided upon and changing into a new set of clothing for the day ahead of him, he turned around to find Caspian. He quickly looked at his eyes and internally frowned. He remembered them... He pushed his thoughts away and smiled instead.
(Dude, I feel like one day, Diego’s probably just going to chuck those eye contacts in the trash)

Caspian grinned back and stood on his tiptoes to ruffle his hair. “Ready?”
Diego giggled when he noticed Caspian's struggle with their height difference and nodded. "Sí, I am ready!" His smile grew to a grin.(view spoiler)
“Great!” He chirped and grabbed his arm with a wicked smirk, getting Diego onto his back and racing out the door, making sure he was secured.
Diego's eyes widened let out a small shriek of surprise, along with a string of Spanish curses.((My mum is 5'1 while my cousin is 6'1", so now I'm easily picturing this 6'3" half-Spanish boy being carried by a smol 5'3" vampire. An entire foot apart. It's hilarious-))
((XDDDD))Caspian laughed and just ran faster, holding him tight.
"Nope, not today Diablo," Diego quickly shifted himself down to his snake form and wrapped himself around Caspian's neck like a necklace. He stared at Caspian with disturbed snake eyes, almost saying, 'you are one cruel being.'(view spoiler)
”You still love meeee.” He sing-sang, heading out of the building towards the Ice Cream shop.(Wanna start?)

Diego-Owl carefully landed himself on his windowsill and lightly pecked on the glass. I wonder if he's here yet. Why take time on walking when you can just fly impatiently?
Caspian zoomed in and threw himself on his bed, hiding a huge smile as he let his bag of stuff fall to the ground with a soft plop. He noticed an animal outside (Blood sensing) and knew that it was probably Diego, kicking the bag quickly under his bed before opening the window. "Hey!" He chirped, way happier than normal.
Diego-Owl hopped down onto his sidetable and then to the ground, all so he can shift back to his human form. He stretched his limbs and sighed happily. "Hola!" he smiled up at the vampire. "Someone's very happy,"(view spoiler)
He nodded vigorously, making a snow angel on his bed, and he was EXTREMELY hyper, not being able to stay still.
Diego had never seen Caspian so happy before, in all seventeen years of his own life. In fact, it worried him. "Who are you and what have you done with my Caspy?" He chuckled and wandered over to him to watch him. "What's on that strange little mind of yours?"
”Uh I think I ate a magic plant, but then again I'm not sure.” He said giggling. ”All I remember is the zooming and the dare.”
((JESUS-))"Plant? Dare?" Diego smacked his forehead. "Caspy, it's time we talk. We don't accept strange plants from strange people." It took all he had to not start laughing.
”Well I had to Sebby! Also, wowwww I'm a party pooper. Can you believe that I didn't wanna take the dare at first?!” He asked, acting like a little kid and giving him the So weird right?! look. ”I was just gonna leave before they put something else in the deal.”
(He’s basically on a sugar high rn, except he feels drunk)
((PROTECT THE CHILD-))S-Sebby? Diego blushed to a dark red. "Wh-what did they do? A-and who is 'they'?" Who do I have to slaughter for touching my sweet and innocent Caspian?
Caspian just giggled again, jumping up and tackling Diego like a puppy. ”They is a very strange but fun Elf metalsmith!” He said grinning, clinging to Diego’s waist. ”Aww, you look even prettier with that gorgeous blush.” He cooed, kissing his cheeks.

Caspian nuzzled his neck, nodding his head slightly. ”Yeah, I think it was something like Becken... Beckendwarf? Oh, I think it was Beckendorf.” He mumbled, smiling against Diego’s warm skin.
Diego sighed and pulled the poor boy closer into a protective hug. "How about I come with you next time you decide to visit Beckendorf?" Dios mío, is this how Ember feels when he's dealing with me? He silently vowed to apologize and thank the poor fae next time he saw him. Well... I guess he won't be really himself for a bit... Maybe I should tell him while he has a chance of not remembering...? It might finally help me get over him...(view spoiler)
”Uhhh I think they told me never to come again and slammed the door in my face... That might’ve been the grumpy bulldog though...” He trailed off, distracted again.(Do you wanna know what happened?)

Diego gave him an even more confused and worried look, something that was more common for Ember instead of the tanned of the two. If you just changed the shade of the eyes, turned him blonde and gave him a lighter skin tone, the two would be identical. The only difference would be height and voice.He sighed, gently moving a hand to stroke the vampire-bat's hair and softly kissed the top of his head. He closed his eyes and barely whispered his next words. "Te amo..." Whoever the Hell this Beckendorf is... He's going to have a very bad first impression on me if I set eyes on him. He could just feel his personal instincts screaming at him to go and hunt the elf down and do whatever it took to make his beloved Caspian Asmodeus back to normal. The animalistic ones, however, were hellbent on attacking anyone who stood in his way.
