Checked out fict fact. I like the format. Too bad you can't link it to goodreads. It would save posting books twice. I would like to bulk rate series of books like you can in goodreads.

Quiet around here.....how is everyone? Any fun plans for the upcoming holidays?Has anyone read any books this year that they just want to rave about?

Last day of work for the year is tomorrow :) Really looking forward to relaxing and reading (and cleaning and wrapping presents and whatnot).
That sounds so nice Kelly! I'll be doing my baking and present wrapping on Christmas Eve. We only get Christmas and eve off and of course I'll be out all weekend. Oh well I'll just put on the Christmas music and get it all done before my husband comes home from work that day.
I've been trying to wrap a few presents each night so it's not such a long process. I think the kids will be spoiled.....My son told santa he wanted a lovey cake with a fuzzy candle. (Lovey is what they call their stuffed animals at daycare)
Seriously! My husband came over and whispered "What's a lovey cake" after he talked with Santa. But, I being awesome mom, found one. It's ginormous. 15" diagonal and about 12" high.

Kids...
P.S. Let me give you perspective on this thing.

Bahahaha that's so cute and strange at the same time! I love kids.
Alyssa wrote: "OMG that's making me want one of those for myself it's so adorable!"Hehe. We'll see how it goes over :)

There is a calendar where they are all posted AND they will email you when the release is soon.

I'm working during holidays so I need to wrap presents, do some last moment baking and Christmas tree decorating this weekend. So little time and so much to do.
I have read several really good books this year. But the book that surprised me the most was Lost Stars by Claudia Gray. It's a Star Wars tie-in, a genre that is known for its low quality but this was a great story. You don't need to be a SW fan to get what's going on. I guess that even people who watched episodes IV- VI only once know enough to enjoy it. The story starts before New Hope and ends some time after The Return of the Jedi, and it shows the events of the original trilogy from the perspective of imperial troops - yeah, there were decent people on the other side, too. The MCs are original characters, they have interesting background and a deep meaningful relationship that develops organically during the story. BTW This book has a terrible blurb so please ignore it. Romeo and Juliet of SW? Please?!
BTW What's with the new fonts. Is it a permanent change? I don't like it one bit.
Kelly wrote: "Last day of work for the year is tomorrow :) Really looking forward to relaxing and reading (and cleaning and wrapping presents and whatnot)."Sounds great, Kelly. Relaxing?! What is that? ;)
School's out for two weeks so now I can finish making my Christmas cards, decorate the tree, and wrap gifts. The reading has to wait until next week for the most part.
Zuzana wrote: "BTW What's with the new fonts. Is it a permanent change? I don't like it one bit."Yeah...I don't like it either. They say it increases readability, but all I've heard is people saying that it hurts them to read it much.
I feel like it's been a migraine trigger when I am on here for more than the minimum amount of time too. :(
Mark read, slot books, leave. I'm so behind in reviews, but I don't see how to catch up at this rate with this font.
A friend used an addon or something to change it on hers, but she said it's still not as good as before.
I don't mind the font, but that's probably because I use the app most of the time and nothing about that has changed. Maybe that would be a way to avoid the new changes?
I'm pretty sure this has been asked before....but for "Gather feathers to stuff the mattress by reading a book with a chicken or duck in the story." Does it need to be the animal walking around? Or could someone be eating chicken/duck?
RebeccaS wrote: "I'm pretty sure this has been asked before....but for "Gather feathers to stuff the mattress by reading a book with a chicken or duck in the story." Does it need to be the animal walking around? Or could someone be eating chicken/duck?"I asked that question but Kelly never answered. In the end I read a book with an alive animal so it didn't matter to me.

Sorry, sometimes I miss questions. Hopefully I can make it through the FAQ and that will help out.I'm ok with chicken or duck dinner for that one. You probably wouldn't be using their feathers while they were still alive.

Heh. Relaxing means I get to run around and do all the stuff I dont' have time for while I'm working :)

Perfecto thanks!

With so many questions it's bound to happen sometimes. You do great, Kelly. :)

LOL!
RebeccaS wrote: "I don't mind the font, but that's probably because I use the app most of the time and nothing about that has changed. Maybe that would be a way to avoid the new changes?"I like the new font, for the most part. The page numbers at the end of each post are too small, but otherwise I'm liking the change. But I can see why it might bother some, since it's a smaller font than it used to be.
I think it's mostly getting used to the font that causes problems. It makes your brain pay attention to it since it's different than you're used to and noticing the font isn't usually a good thing since the important part is the words not the font. Once everyone gets used to it then it will probably be better.
I find the font bigger than before, not smaller... But I like it too, except in the review section... They've done some other rearranging and I have to get used to it.
Reva wrote: "Now that you have ALL this free time Kelly, can we anticipate a preview of 2016's update?"Heh. I first wanted to re-arrange everything. Then I'll probably add 2-3 follow up quests to existing lines and 1-2 independent ones, maybe an easy one and a hard one.
Or I might only do a little quest and do a team event.
I was going to organize first and then see where things look light.
Happy Holidays, ladies! :)What a hectic Christmas this year. Yesterday, I managed to wrap presents just in time for Baby Jesus to bring them underneath our Christmas tree. I am grateful that my mum did all the cooking. Have to give her a big hug this morning. :)
Kelly wrote: "He grabbed it, hugged it and said "My cakey!" He's napping with it now."ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, how cute!
Thanks. I just hope he's gonna be more obedient than our RL beagle. He's cute, too, but man can he be difficult when he feels like it.It's him when he was little.
Actually the real Max was named after a cartoon character Maxipes Fik. It's a bedtime cartoon quite popular here. I loved it when I was a kid.
Question about Everybody Lies,Can we redeem our "heal to your max hp" during a battle if we wait the week? or does it have to be before we start a battle?
For the task: read a book where the author or main character has a name in top 10 on a listCan I have Sara for Sarah?
Kelly wrote: "He grabbed it, hugged it and said "My cakey!" He's napping with it now."Awww Kelly that is so cute!!!
Congratulations Zuzana for Max! I seriously want to steal your puppy (I know that was an older picture but it's so freakin cute!). I LOVE beagles!!

5) Create Frame - Read a book where someone is framed for a crime.
Preferably something I can get from my library/kindle unlimited, etc. Thanks!
