Yup. Poison's all the same so adding more poison to the monster would still only result in him being minorly poisoned. We're playing by RPG rules not real life rules :)

My understanding from what Kelly said was that the minor poison potion affected EVERY turn of ONE specific battle. As opposed to the bat wings which needed to be used for every strike of the battle. Or the CAT which caused an extra +2 on the FIRST strike ONLY.For example you would need one minor poison potion to attack a Green Dragon. You would need an additional one to attack a red dragon.
She shuffles into the empty Tavern kicking dust balls out of the path. "Helloooo? Anybody here?" echoed against the walls. "It's like a ghost town", she thought. "Where has everyone gone?"
Missing the easy comraderie of the past, she sadly turned and walked outside. "I guess I'll have to find a drink elsewhere or perhaps brew some myself," she sighed.
Wow it's really quiet in here. Did everyone pass out from all the drinking. Hmm. Maybe I'll come back later. To see if anyone will have a few drinks with me. I could really go for a few now. Oh well.
After a long week of monster slaying and reading until my eyes burn, I would love a drink and a nice rest at the Taven. Hello? (hello hello ello llo lo o)
Hi Rebecca. I can't say I'm trying for anything to do with slaying monsters or reading because real life is getting in the way but boy I could use a few drinks. It's been a long long week
I'm resting up and working on my staff, waiting for my little rabbit to lay two more eggs and then it's open season on dragons for me!!!
Good luck Teresa!!Carmen - This week has been pretty slow at work, but next week will be crazy. Trying to get some rest today to get ready.
I've been having a bad couple of reading weeks. Boy does having a social life cut into my reading time.
little question: If you have read a book, say in january, and used it for a quest, can we use a reread of the same book for another quest?

Reva, it's going to be livelier here at the weekend. I plan to kill the rest of the lesser dragons on Sunday and then everybody is invited for a celebration. Beer and bear steaks for everybody! :)

Well I hope you get it. We could all get a break :)
Angel wrote: "little question: If you have read a book, say in january, and used it for a quest, can we use a reread of the same book for another quest?"I think your only allowed to use the books once but don't quote me on it.
Angel wrote: "little question: If you have read a book, say in january, and used it for a quest, can we use a reread of the same book for another quest?"I'm ok with you re-reading a book for another quest. However, that shouldn't turn into just re-reading the same book 14 times. Just keep it reasonable :)

Great! Thanks :) I don't think I would be able to read one book 14 times anyway ;)
I'm not sure yet if I'm going to reread it, but I wanted to know just in case :)
WHAT TIME IS IT? IT'S DRAGON HUNTING TIME!!

Yeah, you are ok with everything.
Sorry we couldn't respond since we were away. I'm sure one of other heroes would comment if there is a problem. :)

Zuzana wrote: "Reva, that's the one quest I really don't understand. :)"Re the art
You pick a book 1 with at least 2 different covers. You match cover 2 with another book. (Book #2)
You then take Book #2 's alternate cover and match it to Book #3. Etc.
Thanks Zee, Cathy, Tea, Sara, Teresa & DianeIt took a great deal of hard reading -- especially since I didn't buy enough heal potions in the caravan. A real irony since I had enough GOLD to buy more. I had no idea I'd be going for all the dragons. I then needed to complete a few more quests to make up the shortfall. Whew!
Yeah, I know and yet it's so complicated that my brain still refuses to understand how it's supposed to work. ;-)Do you need to match alternate cover 3 (of book #2) to Book #3? And does it mean you have to read default editions of the books to make this quest work?
It makes my head hurt. I'll defo skip this one.

Yeah, I know. That's not the problem, Reva. What I mean is your books are o.k. as long as the answer to both of my questions (message 2692) is a no. I think it probably is and you can go ahead because otherwise the quest would be absurdly complicated. But it's just me, Kelly might think otherwise. And she's the mastermind behind this evil quest. ;)
I think it would be impossible to have ALL the print versions. I just took it that you could match ANY PRINT OR ELECTRONIC VERSION. Especially if foreign language covers also counted. I mostly read ebooks so any cover would count.
You're most likely right, Reva.P.S.: I've noticed Dragonfly in Amber on your list. How did you like Outlander? This series sits on my TBR shelf for ever but the page count of these books intimidates me a little (and I plan to read Game of thrones books first).

I have read the ENTIRE
Outlander series 1-7 FIVE times and 8 just the once so far. Because of the gap in between book releases I usually read the series before the next one comes out to reacquaint myself with all the plot twists. I've really been enjoying the Television Series which came out last fall and as been renewed for a second season. It's available on Starz or Showcase in North America -- not sure about Europe.
I've only read Game of Thrones Series twice. You wait forever for the sequels. George R. R. Martin has been too busy launching Adult Colouring Books to write the next book.
