My only regret was
Cows by Matthew Stokoe. What an awful book. Very violent, nasty and bleak. Had I an alternate cow book I would have trashed this one but I left it too late.
Was trying to do some of the classifieds the X author's book I chose was really good Not something I'd normally read But I need it for something else LOL

Between this challenge and wheel-a-thon, I always feel like a mad woman at the end of the week/month. Having one of those moments where you try and convince yourself that you can read five books in two days. It can't be that hard, right? =p

Is a drop bear available for attack today and then resets weekly tomorrow?Or is the FIRST Bear only available starting tomorrow?

The hat applies to common monsters only and the bear is not listed as a common monster (no bribing this one).
I would say it appears every Sunday and stays max a week (or shorter amount of time if you kill it anytime during that week). If you don't kill it then it leaves just before next Sunday when another bear appears.
I would think that the first one appears on the first Sunday in May. It's a Sunday creature.
Reva, on second reading the new class of monsters bit in the rules: "The number will always reset either on Sunday (weekly creatures) or the 1st of the month (monthly creatures)." it might go either way. The first one might be already here and today midnight he dissapears and the new one appears first thing tomorrow.You'll have to wait for Kelly to decide.
Thats why I asked the question to be sure.

Hi Tea, I was wondering whether the 100 pgs minimum applies to Lady Dani Lost and Found's quest too? As according to The Maze Challenge there is no minimum page limit...

Yes, it applies to all books used in this challenge. As for Lady Dani's quest, plan was only to use maze map and left/right rule.

Don't worry, audiobooks count, ebooks count. You can reread books as many times as you want. As long as they are over 100 pages. In case of children book, poems, or something similar check word count (it has to be over 25.000)
Only thing (I think) we don't allow are graphic novels and things like that - lot of images few words per page.
If you are using audiobook/ebook that doesn't have page count and you need them, just use one from default edition.

You know all this tasks sound perfectly reasonable when we make them and I understand everything perfectly until someone asks something. Then I figure out that that didn't even cross my mind so I can't give you answers. Or I find out I 'got it' totally differently from what Kelly had in mind. :)

Only common animals are affected by the hat. You may attack drop bear today if you'd like then attack again tomorrow.
Sorry guys. Today was a bit nuts and I hadn't had a chance to hop online yet.
Can drop bear's mean go bad? Since I don't have house yet that means no kitchen and no fridge so I can't really keep it cold :P

That's wonderful news. I have been putting off my watchmen BR because I thought it would not count.
I've read the dresden file Graphic Novels and I find they do end up taking quite a bit of time to read. It may have been since I'm not very good at reading them yet though.
