Oh, that is tricky, haha. Time to start planning!
(Also, I'm not sure if I've said this yet, but all quests are awesome as per usual!)
Jumping on the bandwagon. If I'm reading right, "for" can be used for "four". Does that mean to and too can be used for "two" or am I totally off base?
Reva wrote: "For Midas quest can farmer = rancherOr is it just crops?"
At the risk of offending any actual farmers or ranchers I'll say ranchers are equivalent enough to farmers to count :)
Mary wrote: "would Dance Of The Gods work for it it's second in the trilogy (one within the title mixed up)"For the questanomics one? The intent is that when you say the title you hear a number in the words. Like Wonderful sounds like one-derful. Or Tennis sounds like Ten-iss.
Search for inflationary language to come up with the comedy skit that it's based on.
Or if it's for the tarven one then it should be the actual number in the title.
Tia wrote: "Kind of riffing off Mary's question, can the number be included within a word (Gone, Into, etc.)?"Specify quest you're asking about since we have two with numbers this time.
For the questanomics one they don't have to be spelled right but they have to be pronounced like the number. So gone and one aren't pronounced the same way but into and two are so that one would be ok.
If you're asking about the tavern games one then if they're spelled correctly they can count. You can also use actual numbers in the title like 11/22/63.
Cait wrote: "Jumping on the bandwagon. If I'm reading right, "for" can be used for "four". Does that mean to and too can be used for "two" or am I totally off base?"Yup. For Inflationary language that's how it works. Search for Inflationary Language to get the comedy skit to get more ideas. It helps a lot, they've already done a lot of the creative thinking for it.
Kelly wrote: "Going to say no for the kitchen. Kitchen should allow more battles to take place which should help xp. I'll take xp into consideration for next months quests though. "O.K. You're the boss, Kelly. :) I just wonder if it's not too soon to introduce the Kitchen because if the other cooking oriented quests are going to be anything like the steak one then it's only for people who are way too advanced in the game (re my post about the benefits of the quest). How many people have 15 AP weapons anyway? Apart from Reva maybe?
I'm planning on making some stat enhancing meals also. And maybe even an xp bonus one.All the big quests will stick around for awhile so you're fine if you want to do xp quests instead of the kitchen one right away.
I know I"m not close to that level yet.(15 attack) so it's just going to have to wait (kitchen and cooking)

Stat enhancing sounds good, Kelly.
I'm glad to hear that they will stick for a while (preferably for a long long time). ;-)

Tia, It's on my to-read list, along with 2000 other books. How was it?

I'd rate it at about a 3.5/5. It seemed a little disjointed at times (the writer could really use some work on transitions), but I learned plenty of interesting things about the disease that I didn't know before. I'd definitely say it's worth a read, though.
Is the quest to build a house and a kitchen going to stick around? Just because I read a little less than a lot of people here (don't have a horse, a house or a bunny yet) and don't want to lose the chance to cook things later in the year if those quests are time-limited.
Questenomics is definitely going to be the hardest one (At least for me). I found a couple that would work, but I have already read them.E is for Evidence --> #5
The Austere Academy A Series of Unfortunate Events --> #5
Service for Two --> #3
The Big Four --> #5
The Carnivorous Carnival A Series of Unfortunate Events --> #9
By Royal Decree Secrets of the Tudor Court --> #3
The Tudor Vendetta --> #3
Does anyone else have any they've read?
Teresa wrote: "Btw, thank you Kelly for my quest! I love men in tights ;)"Tea wrote that one :) She writes a lot of the Midas quests.

(Same with kitchen)
Thanks Kelly :) I feel like this challenge runs away with me sometimes as I always want to do ALL the quests but have to be realistic about how many I can do. Better read my last two books for A Toy for Hadley! Eep!
The Questanomics one was brutal, Rebecca. I spent about two hours going through Listopia lists to find something I wanted to read that fit the requirements.
Tia wrote: "The Questanomics one was brutal, Rebecca. I spent about two hours going through Listopia lists to find something I wanted to read that fit the requirements."Muahahaha. I have to torment everyone somehow :)
I have a question about the caravan. Is it possible to gift another player caravan items?Sorry if this is a repeat question.
Kelly wrote: "Is this one of those "My inner sadist is showing through" moments?"Hey now! There are other forum for that kind of thing. :P

You definitely succeeded with that quest, haha, but I've got it beaten now! I have to admit, it's a bit fun to hunt for a book that works. When you finally find it, it's a perfect "Yes!" moment. =p

Um...
Right now we just allow trading books. I suppose if you want to give someone books that's fine. Try to keep it somewhat reasonable numbered so it doesn't unbalance anyone's game too much.

Okay, thanks. I was not thinking all the time. Just like a heal potion for a b-day gift or something. But a gifted book is good too. Thanks for the idea.
As someone who is DESPERATELY trying to collect heal potions, I think that we should all get one for our birthdays! =p
My birthday was in January. Would the gift potions be retroactive or would I *sniff*, *sniff*, have to wait until 2016.
My daughter (age 2) might be a little birthday obsessed now, or mainly just obsessed with cake. Saturday I was trying to figure out what she wanted for breakfast. I went through eggs, cereal and a few others items then came up with pancakes. She goes "yeah pancakes". So I go and get out the pancake batter and she freaks out because she thought I meant cupcakes.So I think I should give you all birthday pancakes :P
