Congrats Jenny! I have sort of a weird question -- I don't remember it being asked before, but that doesn't count for a whole lot. haha
When building up sword was there an option for the larger page numbers 1000+ etc to add books together to reach those numbers? Or is there a solid end to how high a level you can reach with the sword?
Ex. Two 500p books are one 1000p book.
An 800p book and a 300p book are a 1100p book
Same for the staff and series numbers. Two 10s would be a 20 or whatever.
I think you can use higher series # or page # for lower (or at least I remember that being said somewhere, but please tell me if I'm delusional) so like those harlequin books are in the 200s series wise sometimes, I think. Or Nancy Drew #124.
Just thoughts I was having working on filling slots for my staff and how a sword wouldn't be able to get to a similar level (I'm filling in the blanks up to level 24 at the moment)

Hmmm. As of right now there's not a way to add two together, but it's an interesting idea.
I am ok if you read one of the omnibus type books and use the pages on that if it's listed all together on goodreads.

Yeah, it still takes the same amount of reading to reach the number (or multiple books to get the series) so it would still be an achievement either way, but it would put the sword closer to the staff for usefulness.Something to think on for later maybe. ;)

Just gonna throw it out there that I absolutely LOVE this idea!
While I'm still a relatively new player (*waves* Hi everyone!) I've been ignoring the sword, because at some point it just becomes unfeasible. There aren't nearly as many 2100 page books as there are 21st in a series (although even that is rough!)
Now on to why I actually came here...
Hi everyone! First time posting in the local cavern, but I've been lurking it for a while as I fight my way through all the sewer rats. This entire little game is hellarad! And you are all so nice in here ^.^
I'm working on getting the puppy! And I'm having a heck of a time finding a book by an author that whose first name is Parker.. Any chance anyone has any suggestions? Any chance I can use my middle name instead LOL it's much more common.
Welcome Parker! I don't think you read romance but there is Parker Kincade. Did see this one also (YA) - Where Futures End by Parker Peevyhouse.
Hi Parker! I had the same issue with 'Morgan'. I thought I had it bad there, but wow... I tried to search for first name Parker, but didn't really come up with anything much, but a LOT of last names. :/
Hi Parker! I searched, and while I did find one author the book I have from him is a short and won't count. He does have a longer book but it's an m/m romance.
Thanks you guys for looking!! :D@ Cathy - I'll probably end up given Parker Kincade a shot!! Looks a bit better than the YA - which sounds cool in concept, but doesn't have great reviews!
@Morgan - Oh Yeah! You would have had a tough go of it too!!
@Teresa - dang those word counts :/ Thanks for looking!
I'm sure I'll be stopping by here a bit more as I get deeper in and have more questions about things! Thanks again!!
Jenny wrote: "What are some books with sheep in the story?"I remember reading Babe: The Gallant Pig when I was younger. Looks like a short book and the pig is a sheepdog/pig.
If you like historical romances, you can read In Bed with a Highlander. I know there are others but that is the first one that came to mind.Or there is always Animal Farm.
I read Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann and used a duplication potion for sheep in the story AND on the cover. :) and it was a pretty cute book.
Thanks everyone! Those are some good choices. I totally forgot about Animal Farm, and I have never read Babe: The Gallant Pig, Three Bags Full or In Bed with a Highlander.
Check it out a new quest. Anyone who participated in the Great White Dragon event might want to head over there too :)
Have to say that the Dragon Familiar is a great reward for participating in the White Dragon Battle. Thanks, Kelly.
A question on the quest - could you use glue to stick two under 100 books together to get a book to qualify? For example, Parker needed a book authored by someone with his first name. I have a book but it is under the hundred pages. Could I read another book to make up the difference and then give (sell) him the new combined book?
Or I need an inbetween book over 100 pages. Could I read two inbetween books under a hundred pages and glue them together to make on book that qualifies?
Or is it more for use in the sword quest only.

It can be used for other quests as well. It's universal book glue :)
Mary wrote: "if that's the case then I foresee me just doing the book glue quests for the time being LOL"Lol. :) Happy building!

For me, it's a small white dragon, it's clearly going to be called Ruth. Just need to find the perfect image....

Yayy so much to catch up on when I return home from vacation and can use a real computer! So excited (I'll look for my tiny dragon familiar)
Olalla wrote: "Where do I get the egg for the When Two Become One quest?"From bunny (The Easter Bilby quest). That egg you get every week and gives you hp.
You can now use it instead for glue :)
This is my new little friend. It took me a while to get him. I still need to find out what his name is.
Yay thanks Kelly! And hope you have fun!Anyone have an ideas for:
Explain that the sky wolves nearly caught the sun and the moon - read a book where the moon and/or the sun is destroyed
????????

YAY for another update. Have fun, Kelly!
Quick question: The Lucky 13 collar adds 1 attack point to cat attack period OR it adds 1 point to cat's base attack? I'm asking because it makes a huge difference when you combine it with the fish and/or Pet plus potion.
I keep meaning to read this one http://www.businessinsider.com/bill-g...Haven't read it but it's popular.

Let's say base attack. I'll update the description.
Would anyone be interested in selling a book that takes place BC (Any time in BC)?! That's all I need for my purple gem!OR a book with EITHER gold OR silver in the title?
I have two that are partially set in BC? I don't know if it's good enough. Cat's Claw & Pirate Women: The Princesses, Prostitutes, and Privateers Who Ruled the Seven Seas
I don't have any with gold in the title though. what's the other option?
