Your rock attacks look good to me Karsyn.
Yes, Ray, it looks like your Rock Attack points aren't going up +2 each time so they are incorrect.(took me a while to get it the first time, got a lot of help here :) )
I don't want to be the one to disagree, but I think Reva has it reversed. I believe it goes like this:rock 1: 1 attack, 5 health.
Rock 2: 3 attack, 10 health.
Rock 3: 5 attack, 15 health.
Rock 4: 7 attack, 20 health.
Rock 5: 9 attack, 25 health.
The attack always goes up by 2, and the health always goes up by 5.
So keep adding 2 to the attack, and 5 to the health, for each rock you are about to engage in battle.
If I'm the one in error, and I attacked my rocks incorrectly, then please let me know.
Ray, you almost had it correctly, but the attack goes up by 2, not by 1. Otherwise, the rock's health in your battles is correct.

Yep you and Karsyn are correct.
Sorry this is a lot for my brain which is asleep right now. A 25+ attack for the rock would be CRAZY.
Edit: Looks like Reva did the battles correctly, but I think she typed it wrong here in the local tavern.
My apologies boys and girls. I don't know why I got the summary wrong when the attacks were correct. I need more fish for my brain. Some Scottish salmon or local trout sounds good.

There are new comparable quests in January 2016, however with time walking potions you can open up expired quests. You get some in your welcome basket along with other goodies. As the game progressed through last year, the value per quest improved so you may want to save them for later quests. --your choice.
However, experience points and leveling up quickly is important if you are planning to battle monsters. If you just want to do the quests, it's less of an issue.
ENJOY THE GAME AND A BIG WELCOME!

Welcome Megan! And a bit of advice....steer clear of the rat stew at all costs... better stick with ale and hope for a bit of mouse meatball.
My RL has really been getting in the way. I still haven't set up my thread, so I decided to take the day off tomorrow to get it taken care of :-D
JoLene wrote: "My RL has really been getting in the way. I still haven't set up my thread, so I decided to take the day off tomorrow to get it taken care of :-D"Ooo. Serious RPGness :) Awesome.
Welcome, welcome :) Thanks to doctor, I have the day off today/tomorrow too. ALL THE READING. haha.
Got level 8 on my staff yesterday, so focusing on filling in the remaining holes I have for levels 9-13.
Looks like tomorrow is going to be an awesome day for everyone! It's the day before Spring Break for me, and my professors all cancelled except one so I'm not going to class tomorrow. I'm planning on FINALLY finishing that Stephen King book, and starting to work on the Dress Like a Leprechaun challenge. Hopefully some books can apply to my quests, too!
Kelly,I've read:
Red Rising and
Golden Son May I read book #3
Morning Star in red rising' place for LC's ?
Awesome that y'all have tomorrow off! Wooohooo!! Hope you all will come check out the Leprechaun Read-a-Thon starting tomorrow! :)

If so, Karsyn should make the call on that one since it's her challenge.
OkDoes anyone know what's wrong with google book search? Sometimes it works, other times the word isn't even there and other word are highlighted. Grrrr
Kelly wrote: "For the Road to St. Patricks? If so, Karsyn should make the call on that one since it's her challenge."
Oh, I see what it's for. I assumed it was something for LRPG, but it was for Kelly's book for Road to St. Patrick's.
I'm going to say YES, if you've read a book that a mod has posted as a favorite and there are more in the series that you haven't read yet, you may read that and still get the Coins. Just note which book you are substituting with which 1st book of the series.
I just got all of the necissary items to build my own house, yay!So, now I need help. I get to pick a house, but I don't know what any of them look like. And, I have no idea how to grab the code for the image, when I can't see to click on the image in the first place.
Would anyone mind giving a basic description of the houses, so I can pick one, and the code I need to make it show up on a post?
Thanks in advance! :)
Rylie, House 1: Is a 2 story house, looks kind of prim and proper in an old fashioned way. Nice and neat and tidy.
House 2: 1 story, perhaps with a loft? An angled roof and a farmhouse style look to it, hay and wood. A bit more shabby but more unique.
Code's are a bit trickier depending on how you are able to copy/paste. If I just post the code as is, it'll post the photo. The only way I can post it, is to just give you the direct link. Then you'd have to copy and paste that, then put it in an html code.
House 1: https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/phot...
House 2: https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/phot...
Click on the link that you would want and copy the url (if you just copy what is there, it doesn't give it all to you. Then you'd have to type in the html code, which is ~
< img src = " " > in between the quotes, place the link. Delete all space EXCEPT in between img & src.
Let me know if this doesn't work for you and we'll figure something out.
Rylie wrote: "Carson, this is so super helpful! Would you let me know if the image shows up for house 2?"
It does!! Congrats!
Actually, I think it worked. I even put alt text in there, not that I need to help myself, but spreading awareness for alt text to help the other VI's and all that...
Thanks guys! :)Now my only problem is, how do I make my screen reader grab those direct links? Like, the next image I'll have to get is the horse, but I can't click on it to get the URL I need for the coding. I'll do some research, but at least I know I have help when I need it, so I'll just ask for URL's if necissary.
Do you have a Mac or a Windows computer? If you have a Windows computer, right click the image and select "Copy image address." Hope that helps!
So I've figured it out. If, and only if, the image has an alt text, I can squiggle around on my trackpad until my screen reader says the alt text of the image. Then I know that my mouse is on the image, and I can right click it. Otherwise, the mouse pointer and the invisible screen reader cursor will never match up. Without alt text though, there is absolutely no way for me to do this. :(It kind of works though, so yay!
So, if there is anyway at all, wonderful quest master, to put alt text with all of the important questy images like houses and horses and other things that probably have images that I just don't see, so I can find their URL's and post them on my own thread so other sighted people can see at a glance that I have these wonderful things, and so I won't have to ask for help every time, that would be beyond helpful. :)

Since Quest Mod Kelly made all the quests under the mod account, I'll go add alt text to the photos now (hoping she won't mind!) so you can let me know if it works ok, Rylie.
Hey Rylie, there's no set horse, dog, bird (and so on) images, everyone just pretty much finds their own. I added the alt text to the houses and to the bunny, but so far that's all I see that had a photo for a quest that you work towards. As you do the quests, if you want images for them, let me know and I can host something for you so you can post it.
Rylie, we can certainly do alt text on stuff. Is it better to have the alt text on the header pictures or just avoid those since they're pure visual fluff? Otherwise I can always add stuff like "Generic Easter Cute Bunny" :P

I'll go off and find my own falcons and puppies and what not. I would definitely appreciate any hosting help you can give; because images are a visual medium, developers don't really think they need to be accessible for the blind. Understandable, but unfortunate.

Just the important images, I would find extremely helpful to have in an alt text format.
No problem Rylie, I have no problem hosting photos for you. Just tell me what you want or link me to it and I can save it to my Photobucket and get you all set up.I'm going to try to always put alt text in my photos from now, even if it's fluff. :) I might not do all the Read-a-Thon ones (I have a numbered rainbow for 14 days, and multiple banners for all the days as well) but any I set up from not on I'm just going to start putting alt in automatically.
Can I just say how much I love this group and all the mods? You guys are so supportive and inclusive. big hugs!!!

That is so awesome, thank you! It really really does help.
Both helping me with pictures of cute pets, and with alt text. :)

But, then pebble 4 and 5? Not so easy, at all. So, it's a really good way to level up, giving 10 EXP for each rock killed, but after a while, they get to be really hard to kill, which is where the challenge comes in.
