Aww shame I have read all of those (finally someone mentions something familiar lol)
I miss doing a buddy read! Does anything on my netgalley shelf, for instance, interest anyone?

The ones added more recently should appear on top.

Sorobai wrote: "I will be reading Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witchsoon"Unfortunately, my copy is stuck somewhere in boxes, otherwise I would have gladfully joined. Which is actually maybe better, since usually, when I start, I have to read it in one go, at the expense of everything else, and I have so much things to do right now!
eh eh Melas I know what you mean! Don't worry. I have so much books in my hands at the moment that it will give you enough time to find yours if you want. I have some comics to finnish now since they have priority in my list. I must due those to the library. As for the erotic novels I bought recently I can manage them to read before or after Good Omens since they are my own. I'm looking forward to read Story of O soon too if you feel like to re-read it.I can't wait for summer vacances to increase my reading rythm.
@Sorobai Just go on and read it. When I said stuck somewhere in boxes, I mean in a currently unaccessible box, until we move again (my mum just randomly decided I didn't need all my books since I already read them, and packed them all when we last moved, before I came back from uni). I'll get them only when we'll move to a new, bigger place, which, knowing her, will take a couple more years...

I have Bird Box! Let me know when would be a good time and I will try my best to fit your schedule.
Girl with all the gifts was one of my favourite books last year.

@Melaslithos no problem. I understand very well how you feel, although the ideia of having my books unaccessible freaks me out, let alone the ideia of someone touching them besides me!

I would love to buddy read this in the very near future! If anyone does it, let me know!!!

Anyone else interested in this one? I promise not to read too fast! :)

I'm in. I'll hold you to that promise though.
Well Leigh please do it. It's my first buddy read so let me know what to do and when to start. Thanks! I'm so excited for this reading!

Haha! We can even set a schedule if necessary. I know I've annoyed Ana in the past with this...
Ahah no way, it's fine!
Sad that I have not participated in a buddy read in what feels like a small eternity...

I set up the Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch thread for everyone who wants to participate. Hope July 1st works as a start date. Drop a line on the thread if not!

Sure, but third week only, as I will be on vacation during the second week of August and highly doubt I will have internet access. Let me know if that's ok :)
Ana wrote: "Sure, but third week only, as I will be on vacation during the second week of August and highly doubt I will have internet access. Let me know if that's ok :)"Aug 17 or 24? (that totally works for me)
I will start my week off on the 10th so might be able to start on the 17th or evening of 16th, we'll see. Bit too early to tell now but feel free to pick whatever date is most convenient to you.

Hmm I don't think there is a paperback version, at least I cannot find it. 110 pages, quick read. I feel tempted to join in :)

Heyguys!
I have been on vacation.since the weekend so more time to read, yay!
I expect to finish my current book in three, maybe four days. So i would be available to start bird box's buddy read on the 16th,maybe. Does that work for everyone or do you prefer another date. If so, when? I am up for anything, so please let me know when it is more convenient for you to read and post along!

Yep, now I just need to finish my current book in time. I wonder if I will make it. I have had plenty of time to read and yet only made it to 11%...
I know, but I won't have time to read during the week, so need to get a good head start till the weekend is over.
Hello boys and girls. How you doing today!? Well, I just started Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimagetoday and I'm wondering if anyone wanna get along.
Hey Melas I cannot remember the topic where you posted about Annihilation. Any idea yet when you will be available for the buddy read?
I'm just back from the mountains with no internet. So we can either start right now or after the 22. (I'll probably be out of touch again on 14-16 & 19-21).
It was great! Loved it! But not easily accessible. 3 hours of plane + 18 hours of bus + another 2 hours of bus. But which also means reading time!
Alright, thanks! Sorry for the late reply, been a busy time :/
Glad you had a good time at the mountains and I agree, would love to do that and have all that reading time ^_^

Don't worry, I understand totally.I'll be happy to discuss Annihilation with you, but you have to be warned, I'm quite busy now that I'm back and my reading might be a bit hectic.
Oki feel free to write all your comments in a row, I'd just appreciate it if you would mention chapter and hide spoilers in tags :)
Hey!I feel like reading a Murakami book. So I want to know if someone wants to join me! My start date will be 15th of January (I don't think I will finish the book I'm reading right now before that).
So someone is up to After Dark or Sputnik Sweetheart?

I read the second already. I want to read the first one, but I'm not sure I have it already! I don't think so...

I'd be up for Sputnik Sweetheart. I could After Dark as well, but that would be my second choice. The timeline of 15th January also works perfectly.
