It should be 1990.

It's a very recognised Spanish author.

I updated the "first published" date (in small, above where the ISBN and links to other editions can be found).

This book has a wrong cover though: after digging, that's the cover for another publisher... I'll look into it

Ok, so the cover was not for that publisher, confirmed. I replaced it and I believe the book you are looking for is this one instead:

That publisher (Destino) were indeed the first to publish the book, in 1990. The current (2009) date on that book I just linked is on their website and on BookDepository so it is most likely correct.
That means that it is either the date for that ISBN (and Destino was using other ISBNs for editions of the book they published between 1990 and 2009) or that it is the date for the most recent change of cover for that ISBN (in which case, Alternate Cover Editions (ACEs) would need to be created for what this ISBN looked like before - but I haven't seen older covers with that ISBN when looking it up so for now, the record on Goodreads is correct)
