Hello everyone!
For December, we decided to do something a little different with our theme suggestions. Suggestions were given for single word themes, as suggested by one of our members, Emma!

The word chosen for the December BOTM is...

JOY!

Make sure that your suggestions fit into this word. When you suggest a book, give a short explanation (like a few words to a sentence or so) about how your book fits the word. (without spoiling anything if you have already read the book you are suggesting!)

Rules:
~ Each person can only suggest ONE book
~ Books must be YA (young adult) as this is a YA group
~ Books must fall under the word chosen
~ If books are in a series, the suggestion must be to first book as some people might not have read that series before
-We will be starting series catch up months along with normal BOTM every other month starting in January

*check the books read topic to see what has already been read, as these books cannot be suggested again

Suggestions will close on November 22nd or so, and I will put out a poll to vote for the final BOTM for December, so be on the lookout for that to open.

*If anyone has any suggestions for this group (challenge ideas, organization, discussions, anything to improve/make the group more fun) please let us know! We are always looking for new ideas!

WAIT! The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles is also listed as YA on goodreads as one of the main genres, would go rather suggest that?

Sure! That would be great :)

Caitlin Mcnamee (alanna-sama) | 16 comments Gonna suggest Again, But Better by Christine Riccio. It falls under joy because of the main character who gets a second chance to do her life, from a certain point, over again and make things better for herself.
