Well, still not a lot about turkeys, but some tension with Lish and Lush. A good bit about the storm of 1913, which was very interesting, but hardly related to the story, at least as far and I can figure out.

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments I agree (storm), but it was fun to listen to! Lish and Lush - what a pair, lol!

Putzin' along in story. True, not much in way of mystery but I bought the book so I plan on staying with it 'til end.

I'm gettin' there. Ran into a similar issue like one in story. Yes, there was pay but unemployed actor started asking about titles, made strong suggestions on what his title should be. (This isn't a SONY job, guy). Whining about not having film related work so I thought I was being "the nice guy" er, gal and offered to hire him w/pay. Didn't want it, started complaining, begged off then asked if he could have job after all. Nah. If there's that much grief going in, I can imagine what it'd be like on set.

I've learned a gig is a gig esp. since it took place at posh hotel, AC, food, pay, 4-5 hrs. of basically playing and credits. During Covid and lean times, we're told to take any respectable industry related job just to get pay and (or) creds...latter sometimes worth more than $. In this case, cast/crew got both. And got to keep their costumes. Anyway, we could've used one more photog to take stills but in the end, all worked fine. ;-)

It was quiet here, Pghfan. But now for Big Time...whatever that may be (esp. with Covid). Thankfully, our gov hasn't shut things down just back. Wanted a Yuletide cuppa at Star$ or some cafe and they are again closed for indoor dining. :-( Still, pancake houses and some other restaurants are open indoors.

We just need to wear our masks, stay socially distant and stop meeting in large groups.

Amen to that, Pghfan. By now, we know what to do. Let us live and have some joy in these trying times of ours!

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments I'm outside of Washington, DC. Saturday had the highest cases since the pandemic began. Ugh.

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments And a belated Happy Thanksgiving to all! Now, let's get ready for December mysteries, hot drinks (cocoa for me!), and general coziness!
