poli Beautiful illustrations to accompany a thoughtful story about the life of a lighthouse. Using the lighthouse as a focal point for the story and how the seasons change, and the sea changes around it. the light house stands steady and alone on a rock while the world continues around it. Thought-provoking illustrations can encourage interest in the sea. This story can be suitable for all ages, but as the children get older, they might have deeper questions about isolation/loneliness, and a human role in keeping the seas safe.

Cameron Castaneda Hello Lighthouse is about what the lifetime of a lighthouse would feel like and all the experiences that come with it. Lighthouses are used as big lights to shine the captains of boats to show where land is. They always stay still and just spin in circles with the light. Although that might seem boring, this story shows all the experiences that come with being a lighthouse. The author uses a form of humanism in the lighthouse by mentioning that the lighthouses say hello when it shines its light. It is the Lighthouse of character that can grab the attention of the child. I can relate to the story because when I was growing up my dad deep fished a lot, so I would see lighthouses a good amount of times and I always had various questions about it. I liked the book and would definitely recommend it.
