Marty grimaced, "We could try burning it out." He pulled an acid pellet out and raised his eyebrows.

"I'd rather not because that could go way worse where if we stick a sword or blade in the fire it can cauterize it as we go" leon explained
He shrugged, "Honestly, I'm gonna die either way, and when it comes down to it, I would prefer the option where I get to keep me leg." He handed the pellet to Leon, "I want you to do it." Leon opened his mouth to protest, but Marty cut him off, "Please man."
Leon sighed and said "tess prep the medkit and some water"
Marty grinned, "Thanks."
"just know if you die I'll kick your ass" leon said seriously
Marty nodded, "Would expect nothing less."
Leon hugged him tightly and said "just try to pull through" an counted to 3 efore pulling the trigger and shooting the bitten leg
Marty grabbed a stick and shoved it into his mouth. He bit down hard and screamed. Tears streamed down his cheeks and the stick crackled, almost snapping in two.
Leon began working on his leg binding the area above the knee to stop infection and began to bind his leg
Marty spat the stick out and groaned loudly, "Please tell me it worked, and how bad is it?" His leg was sizzling and a large portion of his lower leg was scarred and an ugly red color. Scar tissue was quickly forming, and it looked hideous, but there was no sign of an infection or a bite.

Marty peered down at it and sighed heavily, "Yeah, at this point, maybe I shoulda just cut it off."
Kelsey frowned. "Um...you got bit?" She asked him.

"Does it hurt?" Baia asks quietly.

He looked down at his leg and shrugged, "Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I can't even feel the fracking thing."
All Baia could say was "Interesting."
Kelsey's frowned deepened. She checked the bite and gasped. "You could be infected!"
He shook his head, "No, we just burned it out, thats what this whole dealio was for." He shifted and tried to stand up.
Leon stopped him and said "stay off the leg"
“Here Marty I’ll help you walk” Oliver said stretching his hand out for him to grab.
Ray stood silently at the back, watching everybody else. She was envious of their easy dynamic. She has never had that with anyone in the blade, having always been in the background. She didn't even have friends. Just acquaintances, maybe. She made sure not to let any of the emotion she was feeling be visible on her face as she watched them.
"alright tess do we have some supplies to make some makeshift crutches?" Leon asked
"I could try and find some." Baia offers
Kelsey turned to Ray. "I 'm starting to have second thoughts" She whispered to her.
"if you want you can try and look but take a couple of others with you, Kelsey do you have something to share with us?" Leon asked
"No I do not." She said. Now that she had her memories back she knew who she was. She only trusted Tess, and Ray.
Leon decided to watch her carefully unsure as of right now but turned to the other kid and said "you could try to make a fire if you want"

“I just want to say I’m sorry, I should have never let you walk alone especially with the state you were at.” Oliver said near tears, “I’m a terrible friend for letting you go alone, god knows I shouldn’t be watching Marty”
"Hey, Oliver. It's fine. They jumped us and we didn't really have time to think as we ran. Plus, I might have slowed you down which would have ended up with you captured alongside us. Atleast you managed to escape that. You're not a terrible friends, okay?" She said softly which was slightly rare for her.
Tess was looking in her bag.
Marty leaned against a column and stared over at the trio. Something was...off about them. He called over, "Hey, I'm glad you guys made it out ok."
Tess nodded as she quit looking.
Oliver smiled at ray and went back to Marty making sure he was ok.
