At the end of the book, though I was confused by Melony's death, after reading the passages several times I decided that she didn't commit suicide, and her death was an accident (as it says in the book). However, one of my friends who read the book believes that Melony commits suicide, as she plans to send her body back to St. Cloud's. As matter of fact, I had the same thought as my friend at first, but changed my mind later on, because I thought she just told her partner about her plan of sending her body back after she died, then the accident just took place. Wonder if there are any other readers wondering the same. Thanks in advance for any input.
