What Are You Reading
I want the nightmares. September and October are mostly horror reads for me. Along with a ton of horror movies. Recently finished The Book of Accidents which was a crazy sci-fi-ish horror novel and went and saw the new Candyman film last night which I thought was really good as well.

Just finished 16, I'll probably be up to 31 by sunday, then I'm goanna have to wait for the libary to have 32 and 33 back, I have to return them today cause other ppl have a hold on em,boo :(

Do u prefer reading digitally or reading your copy?

I'm not too picky either way, though I do have a lot of physical books and get a lot of physical books from the libary, I also have plenty of kindle books and borrow digital books from the libary alot and use shonen jump as well. My only rule is that when I buy series I like to have it either all physical or all digital, no mixing and I like to have it all softcover or all hardcover, or at least once I have one in hardcover all the ones after that be in hardcover too.
Actually, soeaking of the digital vs physical, with AOT, since I am not buying it, I actually read 4 volumes digital, since kindle's Comixology had them to borrow and my libary only had once copy of those volumes and they were still checked out when I got to them.

Are you doing the Manga or the original Light Novel Series? It does seam like an intriguing series.
I've started reading Fairy Tail. I watched the first 51 episodes way back in the day when it was airing but figured I'd try to give the series another go. I just finished volume 4. I'm enjoying it so far though I've never actually finished a shonen series except Kenshin so we shall see how this plays out.

Deadman Wonderland and Battle Angel Alita are great! I've never been able to get into Gundam either LOL! I look forward to seeing what else you read RENE!

I was pretty disappointed by the Shadow and Bone Trilogy. How are you liking it?
For manga I’ve been reading a bunch of Fairy Tail. Currently on volume 20. Also read the first volume for Kiruru Kill Me and Me & Roboco.
For novels I’m currently reading The Nameless Ones by John Connolly which is the 19th novel in a series of Dark horror/thrillers about detective Charlie Parker. It’s an excellent Horror/Mystery cross over.
I’m also putting the finishing touches on a Richard Laymon novel Allhollow’s Eve and recently finished the fourth book in a LitRPG series by Andrew Seiple called Threadbare. Which I highly recommend for anyone who likes isekai anime. It is about a sentient teddy bear that builds stats and party members in an epic fantasy quest.

The Shadow and Bone is on of those rare instances where the show/movie is better. Though I have read that the Six of Crows Duology is much better and honestly they were the better characters in the show too.
I agree, the six of crows duology is much better than s&b trilogy. I don't know if it's because of thw writing style but I heard the latest book in the grishaverse is also the same as s&b so I don't have a plan on picking it up ksndksks
Finished Attack On Titan!!!!!!
Also reading Iron Widow which is inspired by lots of otaku culture, ancient china and its really good so far. Also reading a romance, Vendetta Road, which is so so. Wriring is good but characters are wayyy over the top

I would like to give both of those a try at some point.
I finished an excellent Fantasy Trilogy by RJ Barker called the Tide Child. If you like pirates or high seas adventure definitely check it out.
I’m still going through Fairy Tail albeit slowly. I also started a fantasy stand alone novel Under the Whispering Door which so far is pretty good to.

I'm back to Fairy Tail after about a month break. I've also read a couple first volumes. Including: No Matter What You Say, Furi-San is Scary, Frieren, and Cheeky Brat.
Frieren was excellent. Cheeky Brat was a fun shojou. Not sure if I'm sold on Furi-San but it was a cute book albeit short.

I see you're reading Lady Mechinica, Monstress and Deadman Wonderland RENE! Good choices! What are you thinking of them so far?

used to own when I was a kid. I watch the anime and heard that the manga is different. I like the action. I really like the relationship between Ganta and Shiro too. I finding myself picking mostly Image comics.
Image tends to be a really good publisher and I didn't know Monstress was getting live action! What network?
Yes, Deadman Wonderland is sooooo good!!!!

I have not been up to snuff with my manga and anime so far this year. I've been reading a few mystery thrillers after finishing a couple of "dungeon core" novels.
I read the first 2 Hap and Leonard novels by Joe R. Lansdale which were both solid and fun. Now I am currently reading. Razorblade Tears by S.A. Cosby which is excellent so far.

I just finished this manga called 薫りの継承〈上〉 Kaori no keishō 1 it's pretty effed up and it tackles taboo topics. It's very disturbing

Some good titles there. Gintama and Jojo are just so bizarre. How is it reading them?

Tokyo Ghoul is excellent. Highly recommend it if you haven't picked it up yet.

I'm actually having a lot of fun reading JoJo. I'm on Part 5 (Golden Wind). Part 4 was my least favorite so far.
Gintama is just wild. Good comedy but knows how to get serious and it's just a treat to read.
