Low participation is crummy. I try to respond to most topics if you’d have anything to add to them.

Any thoughts on theme for January. It was suggested 2010-2020 manga. I have no problem with this. And then a Harem theme for February.

Also any suggestions for challenges? For the new year?

I am intrigued by this manga bingo but have no idea how to implement it. I’ve never partook in a good read challenge let alone created one. But I’m curious to try

It's pretty easy. I'm in another group where we do bingos. Basicly, for each letter you have 5 prompts and read a book to "stamp" that spot. I made a manga bingo for that group, I'll have to find it and see what y'all think and we can tweak the prompts if wanted.

OK. Going forward. Theme suggestions time again. I know we can start going back to reuse themes now that it's been long enough but let's see what else we can come up with. I was thinking maybe Sword and Sorcery or traditional fantasy. We could do Isekai. Let's here what you got otherwise we can circle back to shonen then shojo and keep it simple.

I’d be ok with that for sure Eden. I was thinking hobbyist manga as well. So like sports manga without sports. Stuff like cooking manga, gaming manga, that sort of thing.

I am fine doing a Yaoi and Yuri theme if people are interested. I think for that we could do highest voted of each instead of doing the runner up for the month.

Maybe we can have more Manga challenges than just the Bingo Board?

I created this Deadman Wonderland Anime Challenge thing. People can either just do the challenges for each episode of the anime or for the people that like both manga and Anime they can do both the tasks and watch the anime, if they want. If that makes sense? idk haha What do y'all think??

Deadman Wonderland 1- Read the 1st manga in a series OR where character is sentenced to death
Deadman Wonderland 2- Read a manga where someone saves another from death OR with a race of some kind in it

For the manga, it's usually vol 1 and the anime season 1, though if you like the manga or anime go as far as you like!

I'm going to do an open month for November. However any suggestions for December and the up coming months for themes?

Thank You Jenny for posting that previously read list. I think going forward if it hasn't been read in 2 years in can be nominated for Manga of the Month again. Does that sound like a decent amount of time or should we make it longer?

Also still open to theme suggestions going forward otherwise I'm gonna wing it. It's been long enough to recycle a few themes as well.

I think two years is plenty, since we do seem to get new members pretty regularly, and if something does win a second time we could always read volume 2!
I like the decades and horror, as well as harem/ reverse harem. There were none I disliked however.
Maybe we could have a month that is a non- human main character? Maybe we could also do some months by publisher?
Shonen Jump, Shojo Beat, Viz, Seven Seas, Yen Press and Tokyo Pop are the ones I can think of.
Also, maybe Webtoons for January?
