I started this and then very promptly realized I hadn't reread book 5 and couldn't remember how we got here so I had to pause and reread book 5 so now I'm finally starting book 6. I'm so sorry lol.

When I started book 6, at first I thought well Adrian must be dreaming of course because (view spoiler)[ Sydney was locked up in the Alchemist reeducation facility. (hide spoiler)] I quickly realized I was missing some info! I'm on track now girl lol.

Chapter 7: (view spoiler)[ Well I already know whats up with Olive since I've read this before. I can't help but think that Adrian running off with Sydney was just too irrational though. Of course the author had him saving her last minute.. but I still feel like the decision wasn't smart for their cover. (hide spoiler)]
Chapter 12: In all honesty I really don't feel like Adrian and Sydney have (view spoiler)[ anywhere near the chemistry that Rose and Dimitri had. Their scenes together while cute at times.. don't really move me in any direction. They are kind of boring to me. I also find it weird that in the last book of the series we are basically having to redo everything we have done before and I can't remember if we actually take out the alchemists or not. Chapter 15: (view spoiler)[ Yea so take out the witch.. again. Take out the warriors.. again. Then take down the alchemists? We spent so much time trying to find this "vaccine" for the moroi and I feel like it has all fell to the wayside. Is the author setting this up to continue in this world in another story eventually? Finished: Alls well that ends well.. and all that jazz. (view spoiler)[ Yea so Olive, Neal and Declan. Can't help but think the author left so much open ended just in case she wants to revisit that option. Also I would have loved to get into Rose and Dimitri's heads when they found out. I'm glad that in the end Sydney's cleverness came full circle to make some changes with the alchemists but I still feel after all they have been through that something with more razzle dazzle would have been much appreciated. Sydney and Adrian still don't stir up the feels for me like Rose and Dimitri did. They just aren't as "much" as them. (hide spoiler)]

All in all I think that the physicals are definitely the way to go with this series. The audios just weren't that good. I still like the series but I don't think its near as good as the VA series. I do, however, want to try out the more "adult" books by Rachelle Mead. The Succubus series she has out might be good. Probably going to give it a try in the near future.
