Easy way to add books

Hi, This group seems very inactive and the booklist is small. Not sure there is much to be gained by joining. 25 books on the list, and I think finding names of clean books has other sources that provide more. Like Cozy Mystery lists.

There is also no discussion or challenges.

Thank you for commenting Liz. It's a continuous work on progress that definitely needs more contributors to make it more robust. I'll keep it going. Thanks for providing the idea about other sources for clean reading. Feel free to share more if you like.

Thanks Cindi for the reply. If I have some time this winter, I'll try to post here more often. I think there are a lot of people out there looking for Clean Reading. I'm always evaluating books on that basis and as I find more, I'll try to add them here. 😀 I'm currently reading the Amory Ames series by Ashley Weaver and they couldn't be cleaner. They are keeping my interest.

Sounds great! Wondering if we should start a numbering system to rate books for profanity etc. I've seen other sites do that but their selection needs help too.

I added a few more books to the bookshelf. I've been surprised that I've managed to read a number of books that fit that criteria without actually selecting based on that. I've added about 5 new authors to read that I'm happy with that have a number of books to their credit that will keep me busy for awhile. I plan on trying more new authors this winter too.

I've stopped actually looking at lists of clean reads. There are a lot of cozy books that fit that criteria. I just haven't had to look at a list for awhile. As for a rating system, for me, I don't need one. I choose a book, if I feel offended in the first couple of chapters that's it for me. And probably the author as well. I can tolerate minor amounts of profanity, although most of the books I've added here, didn't even have that much. I found nothing on any issue to be offended by with the books I've added here.
