Lisha In the book "Tuesdays with Morrie" there was a quote that immediately caught my eye. "“most of us all walk around as if we’re sleepwalking. We really don’t experience the world fully, because we’re half-asleep, doing things we automatically think we have to do.”". This quote is technically saying that we don't take enough time noticing and admiring the things around us and end up half asleep without even noticing. We do things that we think we should be doing but in reality they are things we choose to do. In the book, Morrie says a lot of quotes, but this is one of the best because it appeals to all of the aspects of the story. The fact that Morrie is dying while he says this makes i even more interesting. He is falling asleep and he notices and appreciates more things than the people who are "awake". He makes us see that if we take time out of our regular schedule and surround ourselves with positivity we would be able to experience the world in a whole new light.
