I can understand the Brass questioning why they have to have an inquiry about Lucy every few weeks. If you look at her actions individually, you can see her actions are justified. But they would be starting to question why a new recruit is always in the thick of things.
They have the right to probe further to see if there’s something there. I hope it isn’t a witch hunt but an actual prudent action to ensure there’s nothing there.
I'm getting a bit tired of this train of thought by the authorities in the FBI, or that Lucy is written as this kind of "character." I hope her career gets on track and that we don't have to go over the same kinds of disciplinary hearings every book.
My thoughts exactly Charlene. I don't understand why Brennan needs to take Lucy down this path in each book. If they don't want her as an agent, kick her out. I prefer that she works with Sean & Patrick anyway. That said, in this case, I think an investigation is appropriate. Lucy didn't make the best decisions.
I agree with everyone, Lucy's character is getting in way to much trouble. Not her fault, but her consequences all the same. I'm not surprised Lucy is facing a lot of scrutiny over everything that has happened.
