When Sarah’s body was found and was suspected to be Chelsea, Sheriff King made Tim come into the station before notifying him or Chelsea’s family, even willing to make Child Protective Services take the children until Morgan intervened. Your thoughts about his actions?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I thought that was a stupid move. I don't know why he didn't just go straight to Tim's house to talk to him.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I thought it was unprofessional, but not unexpected. Sheriff King acts before thinking. Also, I felt like it was a dig at Lance and Morgan. Like a ha ha I was right from the start.

It was definitely unprofessional and poorly thought through. All he did was antagonize the entire family and make them less cooperative, including Morgan and Lance. It was a dumb move that would only give him a short term benefit but have longer term ill will.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Yes, this is definitely poor judgment on King's part. It was completely unnecessary and somewhat spiteful.

I have to wonder if his subsequent willingness to help Morgan and Lance (in his own way), isn't an attempt to make up for this.

It may have been as this was pretty low and he looked bad publicly.

Yes, it was definitely wrong and petty of him. King doesn't seem the type to care about what the public thinks of him. For me, his actions after this suggest that he regretted what he did to Tim and he was trying to make up for it in his own way.
