October is finished and we have only two months left of this year. Did you set a reading goal for yourself this year? I set a goal to read 40 books and I’m already at 37, which I’m excited about. A lot of those are audiobooks (9 in total), but they still count! Haha! How are you all doing on your reading goal? Now onto the wrap up!

This month I read…

One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London- I really enjoyed this one. I appreciated the message of body positivity in the book. The main character Bea also went through some good character growth throughout the book. Definitely a fun romance that’s an easy read.

Lethal White by Robert Galbraith- I listened to this book on audiobook. I’m going to mirror my review of the third book in the series that I gave in my July reading wrap up. I said then I could easily picture where this book would go. I miss the character growth that seemed to be happening at least in the first book. If you like consistent characters that solve crimes a’la Hercule Poriot then you’ll probably like these. They aren’t bad books, I guess they just always leave me wanting a little more from them.

Anxious People by Fredrik Backman- If you didn’t know already, Fredrik Backman is one of my all time favorite authors. I haven’t read a book by him I didn’t like. So when I saw that this one was coming out I knew I had to jump on it. I was not disappointed at all. Backman does such a good job giving the characters depth and exploring what it means to be human through them. The messages in this book have really stayed with me as well. I highly recommend it to anyone.

What did you read this month? Be sure to share down below!

Happy Reading!
