Ah, there are actually some pretty decent ones in there Swelter. I was a kid when I saw Willow, so cannot assess it really, but Apollo 13, Frost/Nixon and Rush were all quite riveting in their own ways. (I was vaguely traumatised by Backdraft and kept looking at the bottom of doors for a tell-tale sign for months afterwards - although these days, when I think of firefighters in the US, I think of New York 11th congressional district, not good!)

She's very special but I can take little of the credit except as an object of endless amusement to her. We see the madness in each other I think.

I've finished watching The Queen's Gambit on Netflix, which is worth a watch for anyone wanting something unchallenging but engaging ... and the clothes in the later episodes are to die for.

My only other suggestion is to seek out the recipe for Nigella's marzipan cake, which she made on Saturday Kitchen last week and, to the producer's and presenter's alarm, actually licked the mix off her fingers before carrying on with the task in hand.

I can't believe the weekend is over ... at least I don't have to find a pair of tights for the morning although it'd be a novelty to be gusseted up for a day again in one's finest opaques (Wolford if anyone's looking for a tip in that department ... they're expensive but practically indestructible).

oh I feel for you... I identify with that, and as yet... touch wood... I am not actually suffering from any physical illness at all. take good care of yourself... best wishes are coming down along the line, from me... however they manage to get to you...
