So the series is named The Prime Series series? Because from where I look series is not part of the name. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It is assumed that the part in parentheses with the number is a series, so it really is unnecessary.

I had this discussed with a librarian when I first added the series here on Goodreads to get the name correct, and it's been fine ever since (2019), and now suddenly changed for no apparent reason.
Only librarians can create or add to the series. And first, it was created as "The Prime" and only then renamed. I provided a reason it was done in post #2. If you discussed it with a librarian and it was an intentional decision to name it that way, the librarian didn't leave a comment for other librarians to know about it.
I will leave this for a Super-librarian to decide.
In my personal opinion, that is the worst series name I have ever read.
Yes, originally it was named The Prime, after which I asked to have it made into The Prime Series. Why that is not shown anywhere, I don't know.As a side note, I never asked for your personal opinion, and frankly, you are incredibly rude. I hope you don't say things like this to everyone you try to help.
The name of my series never showed up as "The Prime Series Series" when looking at the series page. I'm on about the names showing where the books are listed.
Fixed the name on the series page. If no one else gets to it, I'll fix the books later (when I'm not on mobile)

I just noticed someone has renamed my series from "The Prime Series" (the actual name), to just "Prime." Can someone rectify this?
