Odd Interlude (Group Read - November 2020)

I'm a bit behind getting the discussion thread going for Odd Interlude. I've just started Odd Hours this week and plan to read Interlude immediately afterward to catch up to our Odd Thomas Group Read Schedule. If anyone else is like me, and behind, now's a great time to catch up. Odd Interlude is very short, originally released as three e-book novellas. Odd Interlude is one of my very favorites in the Odd Thomas Series. Most people enjoy the story with some reminiscence of Demon Seed and references to Chris Snow. Odd Interlude's Goodreads average rating is above four stars.

Really enjoying my re-read of Odd Interlude and I'm going to say it's my favorite of the series.

Finished re-reading Odd Interlude today. Tempted to start Apocalypse, but going to wait until Thanksgiving.

I just finished my read of Odd Interlude. I was almost thinking we'd see Chris Snow, but it wouldn't have felt right.

I'm almost done with part 1 of Interlude--I did the original Kindle downloads when the book was released in 3 installments. Definitely liking my re-read BUT...despite Odd allegedly not caring about politics I read nearly a full paged rant about government surveillance last night. It was funny, of course, but seemed completely out of character.

I think that might be some of the author's views coming through :-) We can find this happening in most Dean Koontz novels.

Finally finished. You were right Dustin - this book is one of the best in the series.

I have to say that of the books so far, this one reminds me the most of Koontz's other stand alone books.
