Kayleb Reed I'm reading 'A Chance Child' by Jill Paton Walsh. I wanted to ask the author about one of the characters, but found out that she just died in October of this year! If anyone has read this, I'm wondering whether Creep was really with his companions, or if he was a benevolent spirit to help them?
