This is my first time reading a book by Ginger Scott. I didn't want to start on the last book book in the series, so I read Varsity Heartbreaker and Varsity Tiebreaker first. Although the books can be read as standalone, the main characters appear in all three books.

First of all, I love sports romance. I haven't read too many high school books. But I did like this series. And Varsity Rulebreaker was my favorite story. Baseball is my favorite sport, so I was prone to like it. Hollis is a girl catcher in a boys baseball world. Cannon is a great pitcher who thinks he should only be throwing to his cousin, Zach.

This story is about trust, loyalty, family and team. I liked the conflict and I loved Hollis and Cannon as a couple.

Yes, I absolutely LOVED that the author had a female in male dominated sport.
This was a first for me (and won't be the last). But I didn't have time to read the other two. I didn't feel like I was 'missing out' but I am definitely going back to read the other two!

I am so glad you guys enjoyed it! Confession - Cannon and Hollis are my favorite too. And yes, it's because baseball has my heart. I loved the idea of a trailblazer too. Hollis might be my soul sister haha! Thank you so much for giving me a try!
