Please clarify this for me. Are there two Burgermen? Who is speaking in Chapter 35? Chapter 35 gives these clues as to who is speaking: Abducted out of his bed at age 9 ten years ago. Starred in most porno films--meaning someone else is filming him. Bought tarantula named Henrietta. Lived in apartment with the Burgerman and killed him with a baseball bat. There's another little boy he set free. I thought it was Aaron, but....
Chapter 36 Who is speaking in Chapter 36? Not Aaron, Scott, or Burgerman--he was killed in Chapter 35, remember. Whoever is talking talks of Henrietta. The book calls him a man. He burns down the house. Didn't they live in an apartment? Ahhh! Quote" Aaron had failed the Burgerman would not." Who the heck is this guy! Rita is talking to the young boy; I thought it was Aaron, but no the book says he's dead. PLEASE clarify this. Thanks so much!
Chapter 37--Rita describes a man, a teenager, and a young boy living in the house to the police when they come to investigate the arson. This book is so confusing, but I find myself rereading and rereading because I keep thinking I'm missing clues. No luck. I wish I could write to the author--but she's not one available. Anyone else confused????
