Seymour Hamilton (astreyatrilogy) | 4 comments I've just finished ANGEL'S SHARE, a novella in the same universe as The Astreya Trilogy. Don't let that scare you off: it's the backstory of the other books, so it's a stand alone. BLURB: Angel is a young able seaman aboard a three-masted schooner, when a charismatic leader needs his help to transport five men, more than a dozen women and their children to an abandoned fort. They all hope to escape the breakdown of society in a community guided by faith, hope and loyalty. Among the children is a girl with sea-bright eyes and her little sister. More than twenty years later, Angel returns in his own ship to find out how they all fared, triggering a spate of murderous violence that threatens to destroy the little community and Angel with it.
It's a novella, only 150 pages. My email is colophon@storm.ca. My site is SeymourHamilton.com

K.E. Lanning (kelanning) | 9 comments I have a trilogy called The Melt Trilogy that is more eco-fiction, or some refer to that genre as cli-fi, which is a near future saga on the political and social implications of a catastrophic ice cap thaw --"What if the ice caps melted in one human lifetime?"

Not escapist, but not totally dystopian either. If you have an interest, please email me at kelanningauthor (at) gmail.com, and my website is kelanning.com

Wow, that sounds exactly like something I'd like to read. I've been trying to get more climate-change fiction into my reading diet! Emailing you!

Alina Leonova (alina_leonova) | 8 comments Hi, I've recently published my debut sci-fi novel Entanglement.

In a world where the distinction between the virtual and the real has faded, and an inexplicable plague is changing the nature, a man is running away from home, as he feels that something strange has happened to his loved one. He will have to change his life, slowly uncovering the truth as he grapples with his doubts about the nature of reality. Can what is happening to him be real, or is he stuck in a simulation?

At the same time, a woman begins to realize that the restrictive community she's spent her entire life with and the rules she's been following all along make no sense. She's had enough of the Master's cruelty and the mysterious purpose that he's constantly talking about never explaining it.

This character-focused book explores the relationship between humans and nature and the effects advanced technology has on people's lives. It dives into the characters' experiences and follows their adventures as they look for answers, offering several plot twists.

If that's the kind of book you'd like to read, I can send you a PDF.

All the best :)

I have a newly launched novel and a companion short-story prequel called Rojan Dawn: The Chronicles of Majjen.

The novel blurb for The Last Minder: The Chronicles of Majjen is as follows:
An elderly war hero with rejected superpowers must overcome a broken mind to survive his last mission on an alien-controlled earth in the distant future.

Benny is a damaged man at the end of life. A hero of World War II, he just wants to live out his final days and die in peace.

Majjen is a time-traveling alien. He has spent centuries searching for someone like Benny to fulfill his covert mission.

Majjen flashes him forward centuries to an earth ruled indirectly by benevolent aliens. They foster global tranquility with the help of humans and androids committed to the roadmap for peace. The deeper this world draws in Benny, the more he realizes that everything is not as it seems. Despite this, Majjen has presented him with one opportunity he never thought possible. The chance at redemption.

I can send nearly any digital format for one or both. Email is author.fish.phillips (at) gmail.com. I can also take photos of the physical copy if you like for your blog. Cheers.
