So far, a lot of characters and storylines to keep track of. I am very interested in the character of Sterling, and I hope he emerges as the prominent person to follow.
There is some pretty disturbing violence here (I should have assumed this from the title) including threats to babies that I would not have expected.
Loving the landscape, interested to see where it all goes. I still haven't made it past Part One which is officially last week's section.

Multiple apologies for not really realizing that PART ONE was 255 pages. Phew. It took me two weeks to read it and I read faster than most people I know. So many characters! So many things going on! So much that is fascinating and would lead me to further research... for instance is the language issue about Geronimo true? Hilarious.
I was attached to Sterling (that was around page 143) and then he never came back in part one. Hopefully we will see him again.
