Matt Spiess | 2 comments So I still have a couple gaps. Book set in my home town? Ain't going to happen. A book from my childhood? Not sure how to comply. Book with non-human characters? Open to suggestions on that one. Thanks.

Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments Welcome to the challenge. :-)

Some people are reading books set in their state/area of the country/country for the book set in their hometown.

If there's not a memorable book that you read as a child you could always pick a book that would have appealed to child-you. So if you were into fire engines pick one about that, if you liked a particular film like The Rats of NIMH then go for the book of the film. ;-)

Narma's given you some good suggestions for book about non-human characters, some people are going for books about supernatural beings, robots and aliens as well.

If you check out other people's lists you might spot something that appeals to you.

Good luck with the challenge. :-)
