The scenes I remember:
Heroine was unknowingly programmed as a child to fall asleep when a specific song was sung. She was with the hero and he told her about the song. She said it probably wasn’t a good idea anymore, opened her mind so he could read her thoughts and that’s how he discovered he is going to be a father

Teleportation hadn’t been found definitively in anyone yet but then there was a fire and one of the women went to the children to save them knowing she probably wouldn’t make it out alive and she teleported the children into their parents arms as they waited outside the building

Girl has powers but she lives on the streets. Was caught and sent to the special school (?) for people with abilities. Her and other kids were kidnapped and placed into styrofoam pods (?). She tried her mental powers but wasn’t successful but the kidnappers were stupid because her hands were placed with her fingers together which made it easier to claw her way out.

This is the Talent series by Anne McCaffrey: To Ride Pegasus, Pegasus in Flight and Pegasus in Space. Part of t might be from her Tower and Hive series which is a sequel to the Talent series.
