Tina (teadee) | 227 comments My name is Tina. I have been an avid reader for a number of years. Writing has always been something that has intrigued me so I would love to be able to use my love of reading to help upcoming authors achieve their dream of publishing their work. I have had the opportunity to be part of numerous ARC teams for self-published authors in the indie community, so I know I have the knowledge to provide you with the constructive feedback that will help your dream become a reality.

I provide feedback on the characters and how realistic they are in relation to the story. The plot, does the reader have enough backstory that they feel engaged in the story. The strengths and weaknesses of the story and my overall impression.
I would be more than happy to read the first three chapters and provide you with some sample feedback to make sure we are a good fit. The genres I love to read are contemporary romance, Young Adult and New Adult. Payment will be through Paypal once the work is complete
I look forward to working with you! Feel free to email me at latine33@hotmail.com if you have an questions. Feel free to mention $45.00 deal.

Thanks!

Tina

Hi Tina,
I read your information on Beta reading and need someone to take a look at my book. It is probably as far from a novel as one can get since it is a book on fresh approaches to more human leadership and management. On the other hand the book is full of stories and story-telling is a key approach to good leadership.

I've completed 80% of the book or 55, 237 words and I really need to see what I should change in this part. What is interesting to a reader and what is not?

The working title is Mind Bending! How great bosses energize employees and change culture.

What would you charge me for doing this and how long does it usually take? Also, I'm new to this so how do I send you my draft and PayPal you the money?
Thanks!
Mike Mears

Tricia Starkenburg | 1 comments Tina recently beta read for me and critiqued my query letter. Her feedback and insights were incredibly helpful! I highly recommend Tina and will use her again. Thanks, Tina!

message 22: by Sherel (new)

Sherel | 7 comments Wow, Tina! Keep those testimonials coming. They are very impressive. And I thank you for providing this valuable service at such a reasonable price! Do you still have any openings left for the month of May?

My novel is a YA, coming-of-age story at nearly 80,000 pages and my time is flexible so May would work for me. Here's my blurb:

Ben Whittley grew up in the small city of Fairhaven. He thought he knew it inside out, but it turns out he doesn’t know all its secrets. Annika Nilsson was the new kid in school who hadn’t lived in one place since her mother died when she was five years-old. With more new beginnings than she could count, she longed for the stability of a home she’s never had. Together Ben and Annie learn a new appreciation for what they have and what could be.

This is a coming-of-age story whose central theme is that treasure is often to be had in our own backyard. It is also a story about friendship, making difficult decisions and prevailing over daunting circumstance.

Thank you for your consideration!

Tina’s contribution to my work has been priceless. She has given me so much to consider, and a lot of work to do! I know without a doubt her feedback will improve my manuscript beyond measure. Her insights are powerful with full explanations of why she feels the way she does. Any critical viewpoint is fully balanced with an explanation of her reasons why and recommendations for remedy. She has been so encouraging, and has given me such an incentive to make this the best novel I possibly can. I have been truly impressed with her beta reading skills.

Her analysis is direct and insightful and thorough and was very helpful in honing some of the lagging issues in both books, prior to my starting the audiobook process.

Her thoughts on themes, plots and characters was especially helpful.
