Ikr, the trailers looked horrifying, but I needed something to jog my memory. So, I just finished it and ... they got Artemis ALL wrong!!!! He's not anywhere near the character I love. He was so so so sooooo bland. He was smart, but that was all😫😖
Though, tbh, if I hadn't read anything, I probably would have enjoyed that a decent amount, lol. I wouldn't have understood anything, but it was pretty fun xD
I'm through 3 chapters. The plot's just about to take off, but so far, so good. I'm just reminded of how much I love their relationship. It's SO CUTE. Individually, they would probably both annoy me, but they make magic together. So fun! 😊
Yes! I'm only a couple chapters in, but loving them together. Hoping to have more time to get in some reading tomorrow.
I didn't get much done either. But I finished chapter 4 and I LOVED that one entirely. (view spoiler)
Yes, just read that chapter a bit ago! Definitely gives a new dynamic to the family and makes me more curious to see what crazy will go down now.
I know right? I love this type of silly humour. It reminds me a bit of alcatraz vs the evil librarians, and that's just the type of book to make me laugh and laugh. It makes the book so easy to read.
I got a bit done tonight. I'm through chapter 13. The story's taking quite a few turns I did not expect! (view spoiler)I'm also enjoying these villains a ton. I mean, they're totally evil, but still very entertaining!
Sorry I went afk! My pc decided to have a mini meltdown, lol. I finished the book yesterday and that ending was a ton of fun. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just wait for you to finish! :)
I'm around chapter 13 now. Glad to hear the ending is good! I'm hoping to finish tomorrow or Friday!
It totally did! I remember how I was worried last year that this was apparently a two book series. I'm so glad it's not! (view spoiler)And now another wait for the next book!
(view spoiler)I like that this is clearly in the same world without trying to be the same thing. It's a little sillier than the original series and I think those changes help keep it different and fun.
Beckett is fantastic, for sure. It has to be because of him that this series is a little sillier, but I accept that because I don't think I could handle Myles without Beckett, lol. Oh, his troll is great too! :DAnyway, that was fun. Thanks for reading it with me!

The second Fowl Twins adventure starts with a bang – literally.
Artemis's little brothers Myles and Beckett borrow the Fowl jet without permission, and it ends up as a fireball over Florida. The twins plus their fairy minder, the pixie-elf hybrid Lazuli Heitz, are lucky to escape with their lives.
The Fowl parents and fairy police force decide that enough is enough and the twins are placed under house arrest. But Myles has questions, like: who was tracking the Fowl jet? Why would someone want to blow them out of the sky? These questions must infuriate someone, because Myles is abducted and spirited away from his twin.
Now Beckett and Lazuli must collaborate to find Myles and rescue him – not easy when it was Myles who was the brains of the operation. Their chase will take them across continents, deep underground, and into subaquatic super villain lairs. They will be shot at, covered in spit, and at the receiving end of some quite nasty dwarf sarcasm. But will Beckett be able to come up with a genius plan without a genius on hand…?
