I'm just in another rabbit hole. And we should be moving soon so that's on my mind as well.
And trying to step over my dog my foot slammed into the wall next to my pinky toe and now it hurts, not just the toe but a horizontal line around the place where my toes meet my foot so of course i'm worried.
It was fine after the initial ow but now it's a couple hours later and it's hurting, but I don't see anything and for various reasons I don't want to go to the hospital only for them to say "it's just sprained" so...i'll probably be fine. I'm so clumsy I kinda wanna bubble wrap the world lol.
Sorry for the ramble lol. I'm not making any more reading goals personally, just reading because I want to. Still here on Goodreads of course, just no goal. And my rabbit hole has taken over at the moment lol.

I think it's getting worse before it gets better, so i'm just going to have to keep an eye on it and hope it's not serious. Even minor issues can be very painful though, especially when you still have to keep walking on it. I didn't even think my foot was anywhere near the wall. Thank you :) Good luck with whatever you do with your goal. It's still early in the year! But ultimately just hope you enjoy what you do read :)

I found another copy of Ripper at my local used bookstore. I got it for someone just in case.
I have finished Party Line! I told myself I was going to finish Party Line before allowing myself to get lost in a rabbit hole again, and I did! And I enjoyed it. It wasn't what I thought after all. I gave it 4 stars.

Hi guys, sorry I've not been around, had a bit of a break from social media for a few days, plus the kids are so NEEDY at the moment - bring on the school term! Books are ready to post Mel, I've PM'd you, don't sweat the postage. It's mostly the international postage from online stores from the U.S. to N.Z. that gets really prohibitive.
Sorry about your toe Tyler. It always seems to ridiculous to me that such a small part of the anatomy can be so bloody painful!

Thanks, and it's ok. Whatever I did my entire foot and leg up to the knee hurts, but I can still walk on it (as well as I could before with my issues anyway) so it hurts but I don't think anything is broken. Probably a massive strain or something.

Thanks. It's just a lot right now. That. My grandma just passed away from Covid today. I'm in the process of moving. Other things going on as well. I feel like i'm in the middle of a hurricane at the moment. I'm sure i'll be ok in time but right now it's just a lot. My foot/leg hurts but I don't think it hurts as much as I ended up making it sound. Then again I do have a high pain tolerance.

I'm sorry. I've just been feeling awful today and I don't know if that came across right. I have no more grandma's that are alive. She was my last living one and I can't stop thinking about it and being incredibly sad. My granny, her mom, died last year and in 2010 my other grandma passed away in her early 60s from cancer. My grandma that passed away today, her husband is going fast. Due to cancer his health has been going down for years and he hasn't eaten, among other things, in over a week. I have one other grandfather and i'm terrified for him now. He's in his 70s and still working. He told me he gets tested for covid every week. When he goes, i'll have no more grandparents alive at all. And i'm just incredibly sad.

I lost my first grandma (called Mamaw) in 2015 and we are still super sad and get depressed all of the time. She was my moms mom. Then my dads dad (papaw) died in 2008 of cancer but he made it to his 90th bday. Then my papaw on moms side and I have my one Mamaw left in assisted living. She don’t really know a whole lot as she has onset Alzheimer’s and age will be 91 in July. It truly makes me beyond sad. I wish so many things I did differently so I could have spent even more time with them. But we just don’t know.
I feel for you. I really do. Ok, I just cried. It’s ok to be sad when we need too.

I wish I had spent more time with them too. And now i'm scared to see my poppop's right now, because what if I get covid and don't realize it and give it to them? The one we're not expecting to last much longer (and the last thing I want to do is make it worse) and the other is fine last I heard, and I don't want to be the cause, unintentionally, of that going wrong. I really hate covid. And cancer.You're right. We just don't know. And i'm really sorry and feel for you too. Many (hugs) sent. I just am trying to tell myself "they knew you love them" and that's important. It will still hurt though, even if i'm sure they knew. I've been crying on and off all day. Bottling it up wouldn't be healthy.

I hate covid and cancer too. I battled cancer. I lost family and friends and one of my dogs to cancer. Life is sad but I try to find the good in some little thing when I can. Usually when I’m in the woods away from all the things. And it’s hard when you feel like no one understands you, but there is always one or two people that pop up in your radar and you might find a kindred spirit even if for a little while.

Hi guys, I'll be in and out a bit over the next couple of weeks til school goes back and I start getting a life again! I'm so sorry you lost your Grandfather as well now Tyler, that really sucks. I lost both my parents to cancer a number of years ago and being an orphan is a bit suckie too.
I really hope none of you lose anyone else to covid. We're so lucky here to have the leadership we do around this and are pretty much living a normal life but the news coming out of the States every day is quite frightening and I always think about all of you, Tyler, Tosh, Mel, Leigha and Marie who I talk to regularly. Please take care of yourselves, I love my little GR crew and our silly chats xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I finished Party Line and I liked it. Mark grew on me. LOL I didn't guess who the bad guys was so that's always a plus for me. I know it's irrelevant to the story, but I'm glad Marcy got a happy ending too. Mark was kind of a jerk to her.

My cousin Katie just died. She was 27. She never did anything bad and was the sweetest person. Her personality was just like a big happy kid. She has Covid 2 months ago and they think it hurt her heart. I can't process it. I'm sad, but also so mad at the people who don't take Covid seriously. I don't know how often I'll be reading.

I finished Party Line!! I loved it and it was a big hunk of cheese! I remember party lines but I can’t remember paying for them 🤔. Me and my girlfriends did it with each other like twice. Anyhoo, it was a nice trip down memory lane. Well not the mad person bits 😂🤣
