I finished Gallows Hill. I really liked it! The characters acted like real people and the story was good. And thankfully, the cat didn’t die! Now I wish I had read more Louis Duncan in my teen years.

Gallows Hill was really good, so I have finally finished my first book by Lois Duncan. I really liked the characters. I think reading it close to Trick or Treat was interesting, because the family situations were similar but I thought this book was much more sympathetic towards all of the characters even with two of them being antagonists.

I’m glad everyone had a good time. I did too. Thanks to everyone that joined us for this trip down memory lane.
I just wanted to say that I finished Goodnight Kiss by RL Stine. I thought it was really good. I am starting Goodnight Kiss 2 now.
I love these old books! I know this is an oldish thread now but I might just get into some of these books anyways. I've been craving some fun 80s and 90s thrillers.
