Yeah. It'll take less time to read and because I got the book from the library this works better than two chapters a day.

(view spoiler)[ I know what you mean about forgetting how little detail there is. I was sure the part where Thomas was in the box was longer. It’s been a while since I read this. There is less detail than I remembered and the chapters are way shorter than I thought. I don’t remember there being over 60 chapters in this relatively short book (hide spoiler)]

The way he talks and thinks about other people is so harsh, like he's so much better than them. Especially Chuck, he's so mean to him. I’m still not super interested in this, it may just be because of the pace we’re reading it, but it just feels like it’s moving so slow. We’re a quarter of a way through the book, and yet we don’t even have our main conflict defined all that well (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I’m getting a bit tired of Thomas. He just feels the need to constantly be asking questions, and he talks like he’s illiterate. I’d forgotten how much I hated the vocabulary the Gladers used, it makes them sound like idiots. I love Minho and Newt though, so I’m happy they’re getting some page time (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I liked the storyline better in this than in the movie. The epilogue was a nice twist at the end that I’d forgotten so it makes me want to read the next book more. I don’t know what but something just fell flat in this book. Maybe the relationships between the characters and the characters emotions. I felt like this could’ve been better than it was.
