How to get approved as an author

I've been trying to get acknowledged as the author of my books but keep getting rejected. My books are up there on Amazon and Waterstones with my authorship or editorship (is that a word?) listed, but Goodreads won't accept it. I tried again just now and was told I'd encountered a "bad link".

Is there some secret formula I don't know about?

Patrick, this is just a thought, but could you get in touch with the moderator of the group your book would be most likely to fit in? Just scroll through the Goodreads communities.

Thanks for the suggestion Frances, but I can't find a group that fits my books (business/maritime or music). I wasn't even aware of this part of the website before now. Searching for music brings up Christian Fiction Devourers. Not really my thing.

Probably need to go to GR help. Most moderators have no ability to change things like that.
